Gorgeous Indian Ocean island setting
The island is small enough to get around but big enough for you to find your own deck chair near the water.

The Island resort is well maintained by staff. Meals at the restaurant were buffet style with plenty of choice each day. The rooms are comfortable with easy access to the water. The snorkeling in the house reef is good and the Dive Shop offers trips further afield. Airport transfers were smoothly executed by speed boat.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Take a couple of good books and relax on a deck chair by the water - the pace here is slow, so enjoy!

Fantastic snorkelling... truly paradise.
Good choice of freshly prepared food, attentive staff, idyllic location...

I had a great stay at Biyadhoo, having been somewhat co- ncerned that it would be too much of a 'couples' destination, I really enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, sailing and exploring local islands. Other quests and staff were very friendly, my room kept spotless thanks to the lovely and very hard working Zahir! An absolute pleasure to meet him! The chefs prepare fantastic fresh food every day and there is good choice. Maybe not if you're vegetarian, (I don't eat meat, but do eat fish) and there was plenty to keep me satisfied! Loved the salads and fish prepared daily -yum!
Travel tip:
I packed too many pairs of shoes :) Everyone walks around bare footed... so I suggest taking just 1-2 pairs. Also, be prepared to pay a fair bit extra for drinks if you're only full board and not all inclusive. I don't even drink alcohol, but the cost of soft drinks was as high.

Après 6 visites à Biyadhoo, il est difficile pour moi d'écrire un tel rendu, mais il faut que la future clientèle sache:
L'hôtel tombe en ruine, la chambre numéro 5 est un desastre niveau hygière : ca sent les égouts en permanence, les filtres de la clim sont tellement sales que dès qu'on la met en route on tousse et on eternue, le frigo du mnin bar est trop bruyant
J'ai trouvé un cafard dans ma sauce au poivre un soir, reponse du serveur : le cafard a du tomber dans la sauce sur le trajet entre la cuisine et la table.Sans commentaires.
Beaucoup de membres du personnel sont insultants ( je comprend la langue parlée aux Maldives, ils insultent les clients dans leur langues et font des commentaires sur l'anatomie des femmes.)
Le spa en revanche est superbe pour les massages et ses prix attractifs

N'allez surtout pas dans cet hôtel si vous aimez la nourriture correcte et variee, si vous n'aimez pas vous retrouver face à des cafards dans la salle de bains, si les bruits de frigos vous gênent, si vous êtes sensible à la politesse du personnel.
Si la nourriture n'est pas importante, et que vous n'êtes pas maniaque ni allergique que vous faire insulter dans une langue étrangère ne vous pose pas de problemes alors allez y sans soucis.

De pire en pire au fil du temps

Ce commentaire m'est dicté par ma mère , qui a résidé à Biyadhoo du 31 au 9 aout à Biyadhoo (5eme visite à l'hôtel)
L'île est toujours aussi jolie, le snorkeling toujours aussi génial , mais l'hôtel est de plus en plus vétuste , la nourriture de plus en plus atroce , et le personnel pas toujours très aimable. La musique au bar n'a pas changé depuis janvier 2003 ( date du premier séjour )
Les boissons sont très chères ( 4 euros l'expresso )
Le spa est excellent et les massages bon marché
Restaurant Tip:
Si vous êtes un fin gourmet ne vous rendez surtout pas à Biyadhoo
Si par contre la nourriture n'est pas une priorité, mais que le snorkeling l'est alors c'est parfait.

L'hôtel était sensé offrir des Beach Bungalows alors qu'il s'agit de petits bâtiments de 2 étages avec balcon.
Les bâtiments et l'équipement sont vieillissants.
Cet établissement était sûrement très bien dans les années 80 mais pas du tout au goût du jour.
Repas style cantine à peine amélioré

Unica pecca sono le stanze...vecchie nell'arredamento e poco pulite,stessa cosa riguardo ai bagni.

Unica pecca sono le stanze.Struttura vecchia ma le stanze hanno mobili molto vecchi e poco curata, anche i bagni sono vecchi e bui.
Ma se volete un'isola bella e selvaggia, se amate il mare e non vi interessa molto del mobilio della stanza, non perdete l'occasione di visitare quest'isola!

スノーケリングするのにロケーションは最高。ハウスリーフ南側を半周しましたが、南東、南西のあたりで魚がたくさん見れ、エイ、カメ、サメにも出会いました。日替わりでツアーが企画されており、スノーケリングツアー（2時間$28）、ドーニで20分という近いポイントでマンタが見れ、感動。。。日本人女性のダイビングスタッフがいて体験ダイビングのレッスンも受けました。
マレ空港からスピードボートで35分。南マレ環礁の東端を反時計回りに往復するので、往復とも左側に座ると眺めがいいです。
食事は3食ブッフェ。朝はイマイチだけど、昼夜はけっこうイイです。サラダやデザートも充実。ビール$。水$。
12時チェックアウトでフライト8時すぎだったので、最終日半日マレ市内を観光しました。
部屋は古くて狭くてイマイチですが、コストパフォーマンスとしては満足です。来年（2013年5月中旬）から全面改築で8ヶ月クローズするとのこと。どのように変わるか楽しみです。

ハウスリーフは素晴らしいけど ホテルはレトロ しかし、３食ビュッフェ付きなのは嬉しい。
部屋はレトロけど １日２回掃除やベッドメイクをしてくれる。 パブリックスペースの掃除もきちんとしている。

乾季と雨季によって印象が違うのはアジアのリゾートの
特徴ですが
今回はイマイチすっきりしないお天の雨季に滞在。
（オフシーズンでリーズナブル）
雨季の良い所は 暑過ぎず まったりしていて
スコールの後の海にはプランクトンたっぷりで
イルカやマンタやホワイトチップを始め
お魚が生き生きしていることです。
ヴィヤドゥーの一番の売りであるハウスリーフも
多種多様のお魚がお手軽に観察でき 嬉しい限りです。
コロニアルホテルとまでは行きませんが
ノスタルジックでレトロなホテルはヨーロピアンには大人気
日本人には異国のリゾート気分が味わえる所です。
３食ビュッフェスタイルなのでバランスの取れた豊かな食生活が送れます。
空港からも近く リーズナブルな龍宮城で リフレッシュ出来ました。

癒された日々。ああ、あの海に戻りたい。
安いけど必要なものはそろっていて、安心して滞在できる

４泊しました。モルディブ２回目でしたが、あの海の青さはすばらしい。こんな海があったのか、と思う。ビーチではたくさん西洋人が寝そべっていますので、私もそこに混じりました。水に入って海に抱かれていると、地球の原点に返ったような感じでした。あの海での抱かれ感を体感してください。
ダイビングもよいです。２ダイブしましたが、１本目のチェックダイブでビーチエントリーして潜るだけでも、気持ち良かったです。ボートダイビングはカレントに乗って潜る感じで、どちらかといえば上級者向けです。
部屋も必要なものはそろっていて良かったです。部屋にテレビがない、というのが、海に自然と向かわせてくれます。朝食時と夕食時で部屋に不在の時に、１日２回掃除に入ってくれます。部屋にはアメニティーが少なく、小さい石鹸があるくらいで、シャンプー、かみそり、歯磨きセットなどはありませんので、持参することをおすすめします。（売店に売ってはいますが、すごーく高いです）
食事はまあまあです。朝食はオムレツをその場で焼いてくれたり、ホットケーキとクロワッサンが美味しかった。昼食、夕食は、客に西洋人が多いので洋食がメインですが、おそらくスリランカ人コックがいると思われ、スリランカ風カレーやデザートがでることもあります。それと、食事のテーブルは、滞在期間中固定になります。気に入らない席だったら、変えてもらうようリクエストすべきです（私も変えてもらいました）。
エクスカーションの案内は、レセプションに貼っています。私はマーレ観光ツアーに行きました。マーレを見るのはそれはそれで楽しいですが、買い物に連れて行かれるので、特に日本人は要注意です。観光客向け買い物エリアは集中しているのですが、そこでは日本語で話しかけてきます。
モルディブにはまた行きたいです。このリゾートも安いしよかったですが、他のリゾートも見てみたいと思いました。

ドルフィンツアー、ダイビングのライセンスコース、スノーケルなどを体験しました。
１周２０分程度の小さな島ですが、３６０度ビーチに囲まれ、その日の自分の気分にあったコーナーを見つけられます。
レセプション、ダイビングセンター、レストラン、バーがコンパクトにまとまっているので、無駄な時間がありません。
フレンドリーなスタッフ、アットホームな雰囲気は本当にリラックス出来てオススメです。
