Beautiful location, Very friendly staff, Large Water Bungalow Rooms. Large refurbished bathrooms.
No baths in rooms. Charged extra to sit outside.Set allocated meal tables, so luck of the draw where you were for the week.
Bars and restaurants, nice but not wow.
All inclusive, but no alchol in rooms, or served at 2nd bar whcih was only open for a few hours each day. Had to pay extra for basics like OJ or a Pina colada.

Just Paradise
Everything you need is there. The position and ocean - together with the great marine life! Food is great. Spa is excellent.

Fabulous!
Shopping Tip:
Make sure you have a big enough memory card for you camera, as they don't sell them in the gift shop

Nice location and friendly staff
value for money, good rooms and service
7.7
Everything was good and the all inclusive package was worth it. However, the buffet food can get boring after a few days. Be careful of what you get if you order "special diners" as it may not hold up to expecations
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
try the snorkeling safari, its good.

Great Hotel and value for money
Diving center, quality of rooms, kindness of staff, great spa!

A good value for money if you are looking for a water bungallow with an All-inclusive package. Staff was very helpful, food was quite good and several options for activities: watersports as Catamaran (add-on paying) or windsurfing (boards quit old and sales not so good, only small sizes), high quality PADI diving center and great SPA for relaxing massages!
Restaurant Tip:
We had the lobster dinner at the beach and altough a litle expensive it was very fresh and good quantity!

Tropical Paradise with a few little issues..
Lovely Idylic Island, Excellent Accomadation.
6.7
We really loved the island itself. The majority of the staff was excellent and the accommodation was lovely, it does miss a good house reef, which many of the other resorts have.
We had a couple of really fun nights at the bar, when the staff was good enough to continue serving us past the midnight moratorium.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Budget for around 80$ a night per couple if you want to avoid the canteen environment.

Chaaya Lagoon Hakuraa Huraa Resort,
It is in the MAldives. Turqouis water, warm, white beach. Very fresh clean room.
7.7
Very friendly staff.
(But I feel a little sad for them.)
Can recommend Adam and Eve Island.
We did the dolphin tour and saw a lot of dolphins.
We thought it could be enough to follow them from 30 min maybe.
It feels like we a disturbing them for one hour now.
The water villa is very fresh and clean. A cheaper alternative to try water villa.
I saw an earlier comment that it feels like summercamp - and we felt the same.
After this island we went to another island and it was even more relaxing and beautiful.
The coral reef is not much to look at.
The all inclusive is very good.
You can eat very healthy if you like with fruits, vegetables and fish.
We spent a lot of time on the beach in the shadow reading and it was awesome.

What a holiday!! We had never been on an “all inclusive” holiday before. The facilities are first rate, location superb, food outstanding, activities terrific and the staff... simply the best!
Overall we focussed hard on relaxing, We wanted to de-stress, enjoy the personalised treatment, laze around on the beach and the door step pool from our bacany, and eat / drink / all of which we achieved in spades!
A truly great holiday, we all agreed it was the best holiday we’ve been on!!!We will be back.

Beautiful location, great snorkelling
Cozy, small hotel in a lovely setting
9.3
My husband and I stayed at Chaaya Lagoon for 6 days in October for our anniversary. Overall it was truly a week in paradise. We came home relaxed, tan, and maybe a kg or two heavier :) We travelled from India so it was fairly easy to get there. We probably would not have been able to make the trip had we been coming from the US but we were glad we had the opportunity. Here are the details:
Weather: Knowing this is the end of monsoon season, we expected there might be a little rain and it rained for a few minutes on 2 days. It was actually kind of cool when it rained and it cleared up within minutes of stopping making way for beautiful blue skies. Otherwise it was warm and breezy.
Rooms: The water bungalows we spacious, light and beautiful. And yes, the bathrooms have been remodeled and are really nice with a sliding window for fresh air and clear glass shower. The best part was being able to snorkel right behind the bungalow at high tide. We found lion fish, clams and lots of baby fish in various corals. Per some recommendations on Tripadvisor, we requested a high number room and got 168, third from the end. It was nice and quiet and felt secluded. It was a 5-10 minute walk to the restaurant and bar but it is through nicely groomed sandy paths under palm trees.
Food: The food was plentiful and there was plenty of variety. Every meal there is a great selection of fresh baked breads, hot dishes and a different theme of show cooking. We had Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Indian, etc while we were there. We also had the candlelit dinner on our last night. It was beautiful and romatic.
Activities: Highly recommend the daily snorkelling boats and the Snorkelling Safari. Great wildlife viewing and beautiful reef.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to go fishing, check with the staff about which trip is catching the most at the time. We went deep sea fishing and nobody on the boat got a single bite. However, they said the night fishing had caught something every night.

Good and bad
A very nice view of the sea, rooms are nice in which you can go to the water whenever you want. Lots of fishes swimming around. Staff are quite friendly.

I was hurt by sea urchin on the foot, the doctor came to have a look, give me some ointment and painkiller without doing anything and cost me US$ 50. My foot is still painful now (one month later), remember to buy insurance!
The buffet restaurant serves good international food. However, if you would like to look for local food or seafood, it is impossible. Not much activities to choose, it is good for relaxation but not sea activities like diving, fishing etc.
Restaurant Tip:
if you are a person who love to try local food, no chaaya lagoon, if you are a person who is satisfied by looking at the sea, go ahead for chaaya lagoon.
