Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Barely comfortable. It's a three star hotel.
4.3
Just ok. The food is acceptable but rooms need uplifting. The bed linen is old and there is no free wifi zone.

Relaxing, but very outdated
Free snorkeling trips twice a day, the beach right outside my front door, the bar was more relaxed
6.3
The hotel is very outdated and is owned right now by the government so it is not very well kept up but you can tell it would be so beautiful if they did. It was a very relaxing atmosphere for the most part, and the pool was amazing until they fired the pool guy and it turned an awful green color over the course of 4 days of no cleaning . There was trash in places there shouldn't have been and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever! The staff was very friendly and the snorkeling trips were the best part. The spa was decent but a little over priced. the one shop they have is also VERY overpriced!!! I forgot my tanning lotion and aloe vera gel and had to buy it there- cost me $48 for what would have been $13 in a drug store. Overall, if you do not have a big budget, then this place is probably the best you'll find in the Maldives. I would definitely recommend the Maldives, but not this resort.

Value for Money for an All-Inclusive Resort.
Room was spacious; Beach amenities like tree swings, hammocks and lazy chairs were adequate; Variety for Lunch and Dinner was good.

5 years ago, I stayed in Club Med Kani. This year I’ve instead chosen this Club Faruholku for a change and partly because it was cheaper and also for the fact it was formerly known and managed by Club Med.
The Airport Transfer by speedboat took about 20 mins and it was complimentary. We were served Welcome drinks upon arrival. Registration took place at the bar with a 10 minute briefing of what facilities and activities offered in the all-inclusive package.
3 meals provided – Breakfast (selection was not impressive and the menu was almost similar everyday). However, the range of choices was wider for Lunch and Dinner. The waiters were friendly and helpful at the restaurant as they would always ask to serve you the beverages when we could actually order and collect our own drinks at the drinks section window.
There are two bars in the club and the complimentary drinks include Beer, Wine, Rose Wine, Rum, Vodka, Gin and soft drinks. They have coffee, tea and sandwiches served during tea time at the bars.
Activities that we could use were Table Tennis, Billiard, Carom board, Sea Kayak which you can only use for 30 minutes at a time, free snorkeling excursion (snorkeling mask and fins can be rented at the water sports center) - 2 times a day (10am and 3pm respectively). Other than all these, the rest like island hopping, diving, fishing, water sports activities (wake boarding, jet skiing, wind surfing, catamaran sailing, etc) are chargeable.
The room was spacious and kept clean but unfortunately rundown in a way. The only toiletry available in the bathroom was 2 soaps only. Hair dryer, locker safe were available too. However, no tv and no wifi in the room. Wifi could only be used near the reception area chargeable at USD 8 for an hour.
They have a Sanctuary Spa that does Aromatherapy massages, Balinese style massages and Swedish Kneading massages.
I think that if you are a drinker especially, the price that you pay for the all-inclusive will be worth your every

nice hotel for lowest price in Maldives

Although the accomodation is very basic, the view from the room and the island itself is beautiful. Good hotel for travelers on a budget.

Budget Friendly
Beach, Access to Airport, All things Inclusive

It was OK, the hotel is budget friendly, but the staff needs to be more co-operative with guests. Also if you want to go for any activity like boat trip, there should be minimum 8 guests required to enroll. If not , then your trip is cancelled.

Good location and prize but old resort
4.7
Hotel looks like was built 20 years ago and need to be renovation. Location and food was great. Size of rooms are very good also but public toilets very offten looks better than bathrooms in that resort. So I would not recomend this place only due to that reason.

Great location but very old out dated rooms
Good food , unlimited drinks and breath taking views

Not very cheap , very old rooms, run down toilets with no enmities no soap no shampoo, no tv in the room , wifi is very expensive and not in the rooms, staff is not very happy so not a positive on the service, if you want a two star hotel with close to the airport then it's a good choice but its way over priced with the amount of service offered.......really really hated the toilets. Felt they were from the fifties . I just liked the view which has nothing to do with hotel. Snorkelling was good n cheap. But the sports staff is not very friendly .
