Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Terrible 5 stars hotel on paradise island
Location, hotel design, spa staff
5.7
If you are looking for class high level 5 stars hotel dont go to Coco Palm. You will not find any flexibility here and they will be willing to charge you for every single item including the regular water served to your 400 Usd buffet dinner. Completly crazy asking prices without limites. We are european couple living in Asia 10 years with a lot of Asian 5 stars hotels experience but it's a first time I was asked to pay 25usd per hour per child for hotel staff baby sitter we usually take during the time we are diving (we have 2 children:-) ). Beautiful island like usual Maladives postcards but hotel not to be recommended - chose another one.

It is STUNNING but a bit tiring walking around...
Natural Platation, Colourful Sunset View, Caring Service...

The staff there really listen to what you ask for... There are just no vehicles on this giant island so it is tiring to walk around it... The ocean is lovely but there are some stingrays in the water and in some occassions, there might be a seasnake... Overall, if I had the chance to return... i would probably...

A Memorable Experience in Paradize
Perfect reef for snorkeling, nature garden, attentive service
9.3
It's a 35 min flight by seaplane to the resort, but worth the ride. At first everything seems quite simple, then grows appealingly attractive each day. The carol reef makes it perfect for snorkeling, room is cozy, service is great with helpful staff, environment is close to nature. The only downfall is less variety of food & limited access to wifi. Go for it, u will never regret!

Great Snorkeling Poor Wifi
Snorkeling, beach and the tour of dolphin watching
8
Wifi is only available when you're at the lounge bar, long walk from room. And food choice is limited, only the Thai food and western buffet.

Perfect island hotel for relaxing and de-stressing. Spa was tranquil and services good. Villas are lovely and private
Travel tip:
Go for all inclusive option if offered as very expensive for food and drink otherwise

Beautiful jewel in the Baa Atol
An intimate island resort managed to high standards and giving you real time out from the hussle and bussle
9.7
We appreciated the behind the scenes professionalism of the place. Our needs were well catered for. The sandy beaches were spectacular and the range of activities on offer cater to all tastes. This is a refined yet approachable holiday location.
When we had an issue with our air conditioning one evening, we were immediately transferred to a villa which was at least as good...
As a diver, i enjoyed going out on dives in the Atol and completing my advanced Padi course. The dive team were very professional and helpful. The dive sites were not as full of life as i had expected compared to my experience 18 years ago. There were few Napoleon fish or turtle to see. I hope that the Maldivians will think carefully about preserving stocks of the fish that have characterised this charming part of the world over the years.
We took the Manta ray snorkling trip and were not disappointed. Swimming with Manta has to be a highlight for most visitors. However i would advise Coco Palm to make these experiences much more professional. It would be good to have an explanation on what Manta rays are beforehand. The size of the group going needs to be limited and more trips available in a week. We had 2 boats together with about 25 people going after the same manta. People need to be educated on how to behave when in the water so as not to scare the rays. Some guests pursued the manatas, making too much noise and scared them away.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Swimming with Manta rays is a highlight (see comment in main section)
