Beautiful location. Nice and helpful staff. Choose room further back from Reception and facing the ocean for less noise and more privacy. Choose flight that is not late at night as seaplane does not operate past 5 or 6. Dinner on the beach is expensive but worth it for the both food and beautiful atmosphere.

it was a fantastic holiday at constance halaveli. the service was great, even when we ordered room service, food arrived in no time. the layout of the room is just perfect, with bathroom on one side and bedroom and living room on the other side. the tv set with music on demand was a good company. nespresso coffee machine in every room was just convenient, waking up with a good cup of espresso. overall stunning resort.
Travel tip:
spa and water activity. snorkeling is a must.

a very comfortable 5-star hotel. the water villa has a easy access to the ocean, to do some swimming and snorkeling. staff are very nice, providing services for all your needs. we did some fishing on the other night, and had the fish done by the restaurant on the second day ( probably the most funny way to have dinner on the island in such a way ) :P
hotel rooms are nice, match the 5-star standard.

The hotel must sell swimwear and cups, the staff must trained frequently in order to know their duteis very well. Also the hotel must have different types of different activities. Also the hotel must keep the Jing bar open during the night and not to close at 11:00 oclock. Also is good to arrange beach parties with fire on the beach.

sea plance arrangement is good. the hotel let us arrive the resort in early morning so that we didn't miss any of our leisure time there and we can still enjoy the breakfast once we arrived.
service is excellent. staff there are very nice, always with smile on the face.
villa is large, tidy and clean. tv & computer are all-in-one. iphone,ipod, cds and dvds can be connected to the computer.
there are wide variety of food with 3 restaurants. food taste good.

My wife and I stayed at this resort and I have to stay it left an unbelievable memory that we will treasure forever. The island has everything a married/ honeymoon couple would need and want to enjoy. Weather you just want to relax, eat, swim, enjoy water sports or even a game of tennis it truly is the sport. The staff are one of the best I have seen always greeting you with a smile and ready to make you experience on the island enjoyable. From the moment we touch down at Male to the moment we left, Constance too care of everything and I mean everything. Prices are what you would expect on a paradise oasis. If its your honeymoon what the hell, Right!

Tip! I have only one suggestion/Compaint is that children should not be allowed in bar areas and some restaurants when couples spend all that money they don't want to hear or see children. In old terms children should be seen but not heard! Get this right and you will have a perfect setup.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Scuba diving is a must!

we consider our five nights in Constance Halaveli Resort our best honeymoon ever. when we arrived there we had a very warmly welcome by the staff and the reception manager personally. Our water villa is prepared in perfect nice way, the villa consist of two large rooms one as bedroom and the other bathroom all connected to plunge pool on terrace exposed to the ocean. The villa is large, cleaned , nice new furniture, house keeping twice/day and a/c works perfectly with large TV supplied by Mac System.The spa has amazing location at the ocean with friendly and profissional staff. the resort has 3 restaurants the main one is Jahaz Restaurant which we have our breakfast there the other two is Jing and Meruu ( Grilled one ) what I can say about them the have a very delicious food and friendly staff to serve you in professional way.Also, the resort have good dive center and water sport center which they have a wonderful various scheduled boat trips and water sports by well trained captains.We do snorlilling, fishing and we eat our fishing the next day in Jahaz with Maldevian style. So, All reception's personnel and resort's workers all by all mean they deal with us in respectable, lovely, friendly and greeting way which we never imagined it we feel like the resort is our lovely small kingdom. In Short, these 5 nights are the amazing part of our honeymoon that we can not forget and always be nice memories in our hearts.
10 out 10 for Constance Halaveli Resort in Maldives.
Travel tip:
If you want nice view and more privacy ask for high odd numbered villa as possible, wa stayed in villa 81 as in my opinion 77, 79, 81 and 83 are perfect locations.
All odd numbered villa have sundet view.
Do not worry about the long distance to reach the villa there are always gulf cars available 24/7 to be ready to transfere you anywhere in the resort anytime.

Gem of a resort

Highly recommend this resort to anyone passing by Maldives be it couples or otherwise and regardless whether people insist you being a pair of newly-weds (even if you are not).
If you've got the money to burn, please please go!!
Don't know where to begin raving about how perfect this resort is but to put it in a few words:
1) Highly professional, helpful and international staff
2) Gorgeous setting, which is quite obvious given this is Maldives!
3) Beautiful dive sites and excellent dive team, we're talking about sharks and rays and whatever not!
4) Super high tech villas, aka TV and Internet controls, I'm impressed
5) Yummilicious in-villa dining which imho beats the food in the restaurant
6) Immaculate villas with private pool!
7) Picture perfect sunset, you don't get that easily elsewhere I think!
8) And on and on and on
Words can't easily justify how great this place is.

Romantic & relaxing getaway (without boredom)
We booked an incredibly well furnished sunset side water villa (No.67) from which we could snorkel straight out into the Indian Ocean

from our welcome to our farewell we felt incredibly well looked after. the staff were willing to be flexible and were incredibly accommodating with regard to our late check out on our last day (we were given a beach villa for our day use).
after visiting constance halaveli we can understand why people return time and time again (like the family who were on their 3rd trip this year).
while the resort is not an inexpensive option, we did not consider the prices of the food and drink to be prohibitive (we are from dubai) considering the quality of the food, air freight and that the maldives considers itself an islamic nation.
we also thought that the activities on offer (some paid, some free) including snorkeling expeditions, catamarans, kayaks, tennis meant that you could relax as much as you would like but in the event that you wanted something to do - the options were there.
Travel tip:
- book a sunset villa that is at the end of the jetty (if you do not mind walking - alternatively you can call a buggy). Ours was just past Jing restaurant and was perfectly placed.
- take a rash shirt/ spring suit/ t-shirt for swimming. The sun burnt us while snorkeling.
- take waterproof sunblock and a good hat (the hats available to purchase are limited).

Great hotel, very friendly staff and always willing to be of service. The weather was great while we were there although I'd say it was great if it had rain all day. Plenty of things to do if you so choose, or do what you should do in this kind of resort, get a spa, lay by the pool & enjoy a cocktail or 3, have a nice meal, sleep well.
