Fantastic reef in front of your door

We had a great stay in Eriyadu Island Resort! The room was good and the beach was very nice. The food was very nice. The best thing was the house reef. A lot of bright colored fish just 1 minute snorkeling from the beach.
Our stay was short and we wanted to go see turtles, but there were no people to come with us that day. We had to go that day, because we went home the next. Normally 4 people have to go to get the trip confirmed, but they made an exception for us! Great service!

The staffs were friendly & the services were not bad. Quite a number of paid activities for you to choose from. I love the swing by the jetty most for I will definitely take a swing either early in the morning or after dinner. The room wasn’t that bad except for the old furniture.

Nice resort for snorkeling and diving. Comfortable rooms, just watch out for the big ants in the bathroom. The food was good and staff helpful. Ask about the all inclusive option or you will end up paying $5 for bottle of water at breakfast, lunch and dinner as they don't offer it.

My wife and I had a wonderful 4 nights stay in Eriyadu. For the price that we paid, it is very good value for money. Beautiful beaches and during low tide in the morning, you can see the reefs and fishes at knee deep water! Good for not very good swimmer like me. The services are great, we got a complimentary sunset fishing which is highly recommended. They will barbeque the caught of the day right away and you will have dinner by the beach. Overall, true paradise,laid back,good food and good service.

we were forced to book to bungalows for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids of 6 and 8. It was impossible to have 2 kids on the room. After 2 days our new neighbors came out of their bungalow with 2 much bigger kids!! So keep pushing when you book. Island is beautiful and a great reef for snorkeling, the best we have ever seen so far. Bungalows and restaurant are very very average, not what you expect from a stay at Maldives. Hotelstaff were only men, very muslim man.

Fantastic
Quiet, beautiful house reef

This was my second visit to Eriyadu and I am planning to go back next year again. There is nowhere else in the Maldives that can beat Eriyadu for the combination of convenience, tranquility, beauty and value for money.
The house reef has been mentioned many times and is truly beautiful with a huge variety of fish. I snorkelled with an eagle ray and a blacktip reef shark even appeared (more common in some other Maldivian islands). I also did a few dives (house reef and boat dive) and the dive centre is friendly and professional, thanks to Otto, Guido and Saeed.
The rooms are simple but large and comfortable. Showers are a little weak but no matter, time is not an issue! Food is interesting and plentiful on the full board package. The waiters are lovely - Sammy in particular, who actually remembered me from the year before!
Possibly the most perfect thing about Eriyadu is the peace. No piped music in the bar or restaurant, just the sound of the waves, and the beach is big enough for everybody.
All in all, an excellent holiday at a fair price.

Loved this place! Relaxing & Great Reef! DO IT!
REEF! Snorkeling right out your room, room being swept multiple times a day, peaceful and small island.

took a four day trip from dubai with a friend. we got are mid thirties and were looking for a relaxing trip. the boat ride isnt that awesome, but going past island after island, looking at quite large commercial places, made the arrival at this small island worth it! the water is crystal clear and the reef surrounds the entire island. the rooms are set back off the beach behind a wall of trees and plants but really is just ten steps back from the beach in a little cubby it seems that seems so intimate for each room. our room was constantly cleaned up throughout the day. if we dragged sand all over the front area or in the room, when we returned the next time it was always cleaned up. the bed was not the softest but was modest and nice. the ac worked well and always kept the room cool. the outdoor shower was so wonderful! the evenings on the bar area was relaxing and very laid back. wifi only works at the bar and restaurant area but really, is a good thing! island had a good vibe to it and seemed people let down their walls and were friendly. the food on the buffet was adequate and always up to par. if you are expecting 5*, maybe you would be disapointed. we did our research and knew this would be paradise for us. it was! take the turtle island trip. they come out to the middle of the ocean and you just jump out. look down and you can see the big guys way below!!! awesome. dont be scared of the sharks on the reef and take time looking around you in the lagoon as you make your way out to snorkel the ree, as the rays seem to stay inbetween the reef and the shore. the dive center was well equiped and my friend tried her first dive there. for someone who was a bit terrified, the crew there really was great for her confidence! just a very nice trip and couldnt have asked for a better island. if we go back, i dont think we will go anywhere else. it was that beautiful and peaceful!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
French fries in the evening on the bar, is the best 'snack'.... :)
Bring a plus in the wall bug zapper.
Buy a waterproof case for your camera before coming.

gorgeous reef, absolutely stunning. partner did a diving course which he would recommend. i enjoyed the snorkeling. definitely worth upgrading room. staff were very polite and nice.
