The “All inclusive” treatment starts daily at 11.00 am and ends at 11.00 pm. It’s applicable till departure day at 12.00 and includes: HIGH TEA AT MAIN BAR (Coffee espresso and american, tea, cappuccino and snacks served from 16:30 to 18:00 hrs); BEVERAGES AVAILABLE IN THE MAIN RESTAURANT, MAIN BAR AND THARI RESTAURANT DURING OPENING TIME ONLY (Coffee espresso and american, tea and cappuccino - Soft Drinks (such as Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Tonic Water, etc.) by the glass - Fruit Juices (such as orange juice, pineapple juice, apple juice, etc.) by the glass - Spirits/Liquors (a selection out of the main bar list) and house wines (a choice of red and sparkling white wine) by the glass. Champagne and Premium Brands are not included - Cocktails – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic (a selection out of the main bar list only at main bar and Thari restaurant) - House Beer by the glass –House mineral water (sparkling and still water served by the carafe); MINIBAR IN THE ROOM (Non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks and house mineral water (bottled sparkling and still water included).The minibar will be replenished one time per day during stay except check-out day). Generally all the items marked with a * in the Minibar menu; SNORKELING Snorkeling Equipment - Snorkel, Mask & Fins are available at the resort diving center; EXCURSIONS One sunset fishing excursion or one snorkeling excursion per person weekly for a minimum of 7 nights stay or multiple; MASSAGE One massage at the Spa of 30 minutes per person weekly for a minimum of 7 nights stay or multiple (between 09:00 am and 01.00 pm).

Seaplane Transfers Notice
To reach the resort, a shared seaplane transfer is required for which a surcharge will be added to the total cost of your booking. Your flight details and full names of your traveling party will be required at the time of booking or at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Rest assured that upon receipt of your details Agoda with the resort will organize all transfer requirements. The hotel’s airport representative will meet you at the Arrival Hall.
To secure your seat for the return transfers, it is required that you book at least 3 days in advance. Agoda nor the hotel can guarantee your transfers for bookings received on same day or within 3 days of arrival. Seaplane transfers only fly in daylight hours.
• If your flight arrives BEFORE 3.30pm, a transfer to the hotel will be arranged same day.
• If your flight arrives AFTER 3.30pm, you will need to make arrangements to stay in Male’ overnight. A stopover in Male can be booked here: Male City Hotels and Male Intl Airport Hotels
• If your flight departs Male’ BEFORE 9.30am, you may have to check-out a day prior and stay overnight close to the airport to catch your onward flight.

I travelled with my mother and we got upgraded to a family room which was comfortable - not as big as most hotel rooms, certainly, but more than enough for our needs. Comfortable beds, nice chairs outside for lounging, clean bathrooms well stocked with ayurvedic soap and shampoos which we loved. Gangehi is a tiny island which you can walk around in under 15 minutes. Beautiful garden area that is well taken care of, a lovely open air restaurant where all buffet meals were served (where you will eat should you choose to go full board), a nice bar built over the water with game boards should you have time to kill, free use of canoes, plentiful deck chairs on the beach. And the beach! I truly don't have the words- every gorgeous picture you may have seen of the maldives does not compare to the real thing. Turquoise ocean, white powdery sand, hermit crabs dotting the beach scurrying about their business. There is an awe inspiring sand bar which stretches out from the main beach - in low tide, you can walk out for twenty minutes and still be in ankle deep water. The water is crystal clear, and coming from singapore where the surrounding waters are sadly polluted - this was paradise. Bountiful fish in the sea should you choose to go snorkelling or diving - in shallow water I could stand in, I saw schools of parrotfish, trigger fish standing guard over their homes, moorish idols and surgeon fish (just keep swimming!)going about their business. Snorkelling with the resident marine biologist was a great experience - she was patient with my inexperience and taught me much. The resort offers excursions to see manta rays and whale sharks as well which I will be back to see 1 day.
Back to the food, which deserves its own paragraph - sublime. We enjoyed every meal. Mostly wholesome fresh fare but there was always a gorgeous dessert table you do not want to miss.
Only one word of caution - if you are not a diver, I think a 5-7 day trip is about all you should be aiming for.

Best dream resort in Maldives!

We love the resort and we enjoyed our stay at Gangehi. The island, white sand, fishes, corals, sun, sky, clouds and even rain its just so perfect, nothing else I could ask for from this wonderful place. They completed our dream vacation in Maldives!

The Padi 5 Star Dive Center, managed by Albatrops Top Diving, is a highly certified diving center that guarantees the highest level of quality and professionalism. The sub centre offers complete sets of equipment for hire including Gav, masks, snorkels, fins, wetsuits, dive computers and underwater digital cameras as well as personalized service, suitable for both adults and children. All level courses are available including “Padi Enriched Air Diver”.

Spa
The luxurious structure consists of four original antique wooden cottages transported from Kerala, the cradle of Ayurveda. Antique furniture and décor, candle light and mysterious aromas are part of the unique experience. Treatment are combined to achieve total wellbeing of both body and mind.
Kandu Bar
The two bars, one opened in the evening only, are the best place for a smooth cocktail or a chilled beer. The bars are stocked with the best of spirits, wines and great bar snacks.
Thari Restaurant
