The guest house is located in the local island of Guraidhoo where the Government regulations require that guests do not wear bikini or similar swimwear while in the area. However, the hotel can arrange excursions to picnic islands for guests where these restrictions are not applied.
Transfer to Guraidhoo Hotels
To reach the hotels in Guraidhoo Island, a public ferryboat OR chartered speedboat can be arranged by the hotel for which payment will be collected upon check –in.
Please contact the hotel to book your transfer arrangement at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Your arrival and departure flight details and full names of traveling party will be required.
Public Ferryboat
• Ferryboat takes 2 hours to reach Guraidhoo Island and costs approximately USD 2.00 per person per way.
• Ferry departs from Male’ at 14:30 hrs / Ferry departs from Guraidhoo Island at 07:00 hrs
• If your flight lands AFTER 13:00 hrs, you will need to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to stay in Male’
• NO Ferry services on Friday.
Chartered SpeedBoat
• Speedboat takes 45 minutes to reach Guraidhoo Island and approximately costs USD 200 - 250 per trip (one way)
• Advance booking is required for speedboat transfer

Nice room, but the island hasn't a lot to offer
The room we stayed in was nice.. No view though, as there was a wall build just in front...

There is a few things you should be aware of before booking with Guraidhoo Corner Tourist House:
The only way to get there is by the local ferry, that only ships out once a day from Male, at 2:30PM and leaves the island again at 7AM. The trip is nice though. We got caught in that, as is it not written properly in the description.
They charge 8$ for a bottle of water....
There is not a great lot to experience on the island. It's local, so no swimming in bikini, unless you go on a snorkelling/diving trip.
I must say that we were a bit disappointed, as the description and pictures on Agoda looked much nicer then the real deal. The beach is filled with garbage, so the nice Maldives feeling isn't really there.
Nightlife Tip:
As the island is local, there is not much more to do after dusk, then take a blanket, go to the beach and look at the stars. Or turn in early... There is a TV in the room, so that's an option too

nice big rooms, helpful and friendly stuff

we felt like at home, the rooms are large and nice with everything you need, even the bathroom is great to feel good. We felt safe and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A special thanks goes to Jusuf, the "little fairy" of the house. The breakfast was plentiful and there was always hot water for our YEYE. Thanks also to DJ for the exciting boat trips to Biyadhoo. The only thing we missed was an open terrace. But we also like to sit outside in front of the hotel in the small "armchairs". Thanks for a lovely stay and all good wishes for the future.
Restaurant Tip:
Peach grill a nice place with a beautiful garden and delicious food every time and very friendly stuff.
