the whole trip to iru fushi was wonderful. from the check in at the seaplane terminal where hilton have their own lounge to the greeting from the reception staff at the island we really did feel as though this was a special resort, and to be honest everyday of our 14 days on this small island paradise was wonderful. there are 3 al la carte restaurants trio flavours and islander grill, all of them are magical and romantic and the food was excellent. i am very critical normally but i could not fault the service which was subtle but with the most friendly waiters the quality of the food and the ambience of these restaurants. people may say they are pricy but as you are in the middle of nowhere and the logistics to keep/prepare such great fresh food is worth every penny.
would i recommend this island, yes i most certainly would.

great hotel with fab facilities
modern facilities, value for money

we stayed in one of the overwater villas and loved it. compared to other resorts in the maldives i have stayed at it was pretty good value for money. the resort is big and there are lots of families with kids - we are a non kid couple so be prepared to have kids running around at meal times.

(1) Although the mandatory seaplane transfer makes a hole in your pocket, the view from the seaplane makes it worth the trip!!
(2) The property is very beautiful and done up asthetically. There are a number of options for food/dining, spa, water activities, etc. which makes the property self-sufficient.
(3) The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and you would be well looked after.
Shopping Tip:
Only buy the in-house souveniers from the shop at the property (like work done with shells etc). These are not available anywhere else. The rest of the regular stuff can be bought at local shops at the Male airport for almost half the price.

Happy with my choice after research of all resorts

Travelled to many places but this resort and island is amazing!
The staff were great. The villa was fantastic.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat lots for breakfast so you dont need lunch!
Enjoy the large wine selection by the glass at reasonable prices.

the personalized welcome,
the deluxe room which are really spacious well equiped and maintained
the great food variaties and experiences.
the natural green surrounding that makes you feel alone even the resort was full.
good to know : Some beach villas are not on the beach, it is worth checking.
Travel tip:
Do not forget your diving credentials, there are no exception to the strict rule.

Hilton Irufushi has it all. Beautiful beaches, excellent mix of restaurants and a variety of activities that you can indulge in.

amazing hotel and jaw dropping beauty!!!

best hotel we have ever stayed in. the resort has 3 separate restaurants and 2 pools and a few bars. the bungalows are huge and all have private decks. makes you feel privileged to be there. breakfast is great, great pool meals at reflections. service is best ever with personal greetings at pier. beach and natural beauty is out of this world!!!

this was a perfect stay. me and my husband on a honeymoon type vacation, for us, that was exactly what we needed. a beautiful villa over the water, with private loungers and a private access to the sea. a choice of about 5 restaurants made us dine in a different one every night which was nice :)
the villa was always clean and kept, and the nespresso machine was a nice addition, for an extra charge though!
the whole island is nicely laid out, "jungle" all over, greenery that is. very nice.
the breakfast bouquet was quite varied with something for everyone.
a bit pricey but for a couple hideaway, well worth it.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the informal bamboo restaurant, good food and a very pleasant atmosphere
