Hello, Thanks for your site send them an email and thank you for Hotel Komandoo is what I users say services during the stay there and actually it was very enjoyable trip and was rest and relaxation, but there is a problem has me the hotel is when contacted booked the hotel and spoke to employees booking banaaml seaplane booked me and to be on the last trip so that I can go make the trip after which the City of Mali and booking officer.The work arrangements crisis and when you go out from the hotel that bookings early the morning plane Almaúbh and though I spoke with the manager on duty that finds me a solution to the problem but to no avail and he told me that there is no director departures today , Tfajaeh and I'll wait for the Male International Airport for a period of 24 hours watching one hotel guest enters the airport, accompanied by his wife and I ACCEPT that there is racism on the one hand because of sexual Norwegian citizenship, but the overall residence was very impressive, but I would not recommend the hotel because there are only a seaplane to navigate to and from the airport

Amazing!

We were there for our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Waiting area at the seaplane terminal to start with was good as we had a designated room to wait in. Upon arrival at Komandoo, we were greeted by Patrick (hotel manager) upon arrival and had welcome drinks and a wonderful drum performance. Very nice touch!
Staff at Komandoo are very friendly, attentive and aim to please. As it is an over-18 only resort, we felt the peace and tranquility that we were looking for in our trip, and due to the intimate size of the island, everywhere we went felt exclusive (not overcrowded with ppl).
Buffet was amazing (I'm still missing the live pasta station) and the chefs & waiters take the effort to remember what we like.
View was spectacular, not to mention the feeling of being in my own private seaworld--- plenty of fishes swimming in the clear water, reef sharks and sting ray made appearances everyday too.
Definitely a place to go! Awesome!

Very quiet hotel for the stay, small but nice, with friendly staff, always ready to help, superb spa :) Good idea to create the resort for adults only!

Except for the AC fiasco, everything was excellent

I must comment about the AC fiasco. The first day it leaked like Niagra Falls. On the third day, it spit ice chunks onto the bed as we slept and thes sounded like someone was tap dancing all night. To be fair, we did not report until the 3rd day. Nothing was done until the 5th day. The tap dancing was fixed but the air came out at room temp which meant we sweat all night. Our last day the hotel let us stay in our roon until 2 since we had a late flight. Unfortunatly, this is when the hotel decided to replace the whole unit.So from 10 am till 1, we sat in our villa sweating. I would have thought they could have waited till we left. I felt like i was being punished for asking to stay in the room a little longer. We were fried from snorkeling so we couldn't go outside. We couldn't shower since maintenance was on a ladder outside shower. We spent the last hour in the excercise room since the AC rocks!I even asked if I could rent this room when we return. Yes, we will return but I'm checking the AC before I unpack one thing! Maybe it is just an American thing but I was expecting some type of compensation.

It'a our 4th stay in Maldives. We love snorkeling and enjoy sunshine and beach. Komandoo is ideal for us. We will probably come back.

A picture perfect place!
This resort has indeed been a pleasant surprise!
It has exceeded our expectations with its friendly and approachable staff, calm and relaxing enviroment and the fact that it is indeed a private experience (it is not overcrowded with accomodation facilities which is great addition for a relaxing vacation experience).
Considering the remoteness of the area, the food spreand and diversity was also great and I would deffinitely not mind coming back in near future!

We have visited Komandoo 7 times and it never fails to live up to expectations. This is a small island with few facilities, and ideal for a relaxing beach vacation for a couple. The new pool area has been done tastefully, and gives a nice alternative to the crystal clear ocean, and as always the staff were extremely friendly - many of them remembering us from previous visitors. It is simply our favourite place for a beach vacation - can't be beaten. On face value it seems expensive, but it's worth every penny.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are visited from November - April ask for a room on the Sunrise side of the island, as this benefits from any sea breeze (and you need it) - although there are now only Jacuzzi Beach Villa's on this side.
