Very nice hotel

We stayed at Lily beach resort last week. We selected this hotel based on 2 criterions: snorkling capabilities and food. Both could not have been better in any other location. Snorkling was great and few meters only from the beach (no need to take a boat). Breakfast buffet is probably the best one I had a chance to see. Dinner theme buffet is very good as well. Although the lunch buffet is always the same, choice is big enough for you to eat through the week without eating twice the same thing. In all cases, you can also try one of the other restaurants included in the package if you want to change. Overall, the staff is extremelly friendly and propose some visit of the island (engineering, logistics, gardening) to keeep you busy when you are not in the water. Rooms are nice as well. We strongly recommend this hotel for an amazing vacation and will certainly return soon.
Restaurant Tip:
Book for your signature dinner as soon as you arrive to get one of the outdoor seatings.

Beautiful resort
Excellent food, beautiful island

The platinum plan dining option is excellent. The quality of food in 'Lily Maa' (buffet) is equal and sometimes better than the food in 'Tamarind'. Staff on all the excursions were very friendly. The beaches, house reef and rooms were excellent. Difficult to summarise the whole experience, but I would definitely recommend a week here to anyone.
Shopping Tip:
Bring plenty of sunscreen as the cheapest bottle here costs approx $34

If you get the chance, you must go to the Maldives, it is paradise. Lily beach is fantastic, everyone is so nice, food and drinks are great.

Fantastic experience

We had 4 nights in the Lagoon Village. To start, the service and staff attention is excellent in all aspects. Room was big, with all facilities well set up. Staff came twice a day for servicing.
The beaches and sea were fabulous, snorkeling around the reef was an experience that we will never forget.
The all inclusive package has a wide selection of alcoholic beverages like drinks and an excellent variety of wines. The food and snacks, served in all restaurants and bars is also top quality.

Fantastic resort - perfect honeymoon destination

We stayed here for 7 days as part of our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Lily Beach Resort for a romantic vacation. The rooms are huge and modern and are maintained twice daily. The staff are all so friendly and welcomming with some referring to us by name on the second day of our trip. The lagoon is so clear and beautiful it makes for fantastic snorkelling. My husband has snorkelled many places and says this house reef is the best he has seen. The food is absolutely delicious. I was worried that a buffet would taste like mass produced food can taste but in fact it was almost fine dining quality for breakfast lunch and dinner. We loved that the package was all inclusive as we could enjoy cocktail after cocktail without worrying we would break the bank at the end of our stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you a dreaming of an overwater villa but can't justify the cost - get a lagoon villa here. The back is overwater and infact the snorkelling from these villas is far better than the overwater ones.

Heaven on Earth

lily beach resort and spa really did eclipse all expectations. my husband and i stayed here for our honeymoon, and after our lovely but full on wedding we were looking for a relaxing, piece of paradise and that is exactly what we got at lily beach.
the seaplane ride was a great little experience. throughout our stay the staff were always very friendly and helpful.
a massive highlight was swimming with the mantra rays and whale sharks, something that we will remember for ever.
we chose to stay in a deluxe over water bungalow, and we are so glad we did. from the moment we walked into the bungalow we were so impressed, with the glass floors and the fantastic room design and decor. it was great to be able to go snorkeling right off our accommodation.
the food was excellent and even the evening buffets had a nightly theme to change up the dining choices.
overall it was a trip of a lifetime, we were so happy with everything from our arrival to our departure.
Travel tip:
Make sure you apply sunscreen, the Maldivian sun is quite powerful and unfortunately we learnt the hard way!!

Great beach villa

Great amenities, food, staff, accommodation, and most importantly beach and reef. This is the first place I have been to where the actual experience met or exceeded the glossy brochure. In my opinion this resort has it all, and I guess it should at the price that is charged.
Restaurant Tip:
All restaurants are included in the all-inclusive package so book suppers early and avoid going to the buffet every night.

Luxury resort with beautiful coral reef and beach

great small island looks like the lost paradise. staff people are very polite.
the resort's facilities are really great. food is very delicious and fresh. very beautiful coral reef around the island and many many fish around you. water sports center offers many different activities - kayaking, katamaran, snorkeling and etc. i do highly recommend the resort for ones to spend their honeymoon!

Lily Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive is a great option for your holiday. The rooms are amazing good, the food is extensive and very good.
The only negative is that there is no VIP lounge yet for departure was is annoying if you leave in the evening as you can stay a few hours at the airport. They are working on this and thus will be solved.
I can only recommend it!

Amazing hotel in an amazing location

we spent 2 memorable nights at lily beach. the resort is about 30 minutes away from male, by seaplane, which means you won't have to deal with all the hustle and bustle of the capital city. upon our arrival at the resort we were greeted by the staff, and led to the lobby where we were given a run down of the facility and the activities. although the hotel was at 90% occupancy when we were there, you will not feel crowded at all. the water villas are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. in addition to the reef and water sports, there are 2 pools on either side of the island for those that want to lounge and grab a drink or a bite. the all-you-can eat buffet was delicious, with tons of options.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A word of advice, if you plan to go on any of the excursions or book a dinner reservation at their reservation-only restaurant, make sure to do so prior to arriving. There is usually a 1-2 day wait, as the resort is often at capacity.
