Please note that the guest house is located in the local island of Maafushi where the Government regulations require that guests do not wear bikini or similar swimwear while in the area. However, the hotel can arrange excursions to picnic islands for guests where these restrictions are not applied.
Transfer Notice To reach the hotels in Maafushi Island, a public ferryboat OR chartered speedboat can be arranged by the hotel for which payment will be collected upon check –in.
Please contact the hotel to book your transfer arrangement at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Your arrival and departure flight details and full names of traveling party will be required.
Public Ferryboat
• Ferryboat takes 90 minutes to reach Maafushi Island and costs approximately USD 2.00 per person per way.
• Ferry departs from Male’ at 15:00 hrs / Ferry departs from Maafushi Island at 07:30 hrs
• If your flight lands AFTER 13:00 hrs, you will need to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to stay in Male’
• NO Ferry services on Friday.

• Speedboat takes 35 minutes to reach Maafushi Island and approximately costs USD 160 - 200 per trip
• Shared speedboat transfer for a surcharge of approximately USD 30-50 per person for minimum of 5 persons group.

Great guest house with friendly service

We spent 7 nights in Maafushi Inn. We got enough spacious room with a king bed, air conditioning and views of the ocean. The room was equipped with a mini-bar, electric kettle and an adapter for European sockets. The hotel runs of five young men, four of them from Maldives and one from Sri Lanka, they were all really nice and helpful, speak English well. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful, fenced beach on Maafushi. In my opinion, Maafushi Inn is a great place as a base for day trips to other places in the Maldives, such as Picnic Island, Snorkeling, night fishing and day trips to resorts. I recommend Maafushi Inn, very good value for money!

We were like at home
Very friendly staff, everything were well organized, the hotel locates on the beach

Everything was just great, exept one little thing - our room had no window. But it was just a little minus. Staff was like a family, specially the man who organized us the trip to Picnic Island and snorkeling and the chef from Sri Lanka. The speedboat to airport was a little bit expensive(200$)but the trip itself was an experience.
So if you want to swim and sunbathe, don´t want to spend a lot of money and to know about the local life - it´s the best place to stay.

Grt Hotel just beside the beach!

I booked that hotel as it was at that time the cheapest on the whole island, so i didnt have much desire to be disappointed- and altough living in the Maldives before- i was overwhelmed by the owner! He picked me airport, showed me around, took me to play volleyball with his friends..a shisha on the beach :)
Room was nicely furnished and everything was in it wht you need on a beach holiday-so no TV
