Recommend to spend more and stay at the water bungalow. Nicer view and can snorkel right below the room. Good food by the restaurant . Would recommend to book with half board as food is not cheap.
Water is available on the island at us3 for a bottle (1l)
So don't really need to worry about that.

Great Location but Moderate Staff Service

We went to medhufushi for our honeymoon. The Island is excellent and excursions are a must see!! However room service, cleaning have some negatives.
When we arrived, we learnt that there was a problem with the water villa arrangement so we stayed at the beach villa for 1 day. Hotel management gave complementary excursions/meals in order to compansate the downgrade, which was fair.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Snorkeling is a must

nice place, average customer service,
food is delicious, but u had better order the drink,otherwise their attuitude will change, they will treat u in rude,had better leave some tips for their waiter, i dont like their customer service,to be honest, the worst seaplane arrangement,i almost cant catch my plane,very bad reception

Great hotel but bad services for Asian travelers

i love to stay here, it's like a paradise, the resort is beautiful and designed for a dream come true experience. i love the water villas, they're so amazing and gorgeous. what i didn't like is the restaurant waiters, they are so rude and cocky, they're not nice to asian. i don't like the arrival staff, she spoke too fast without the consideration that we came from non-english country, or they just accept people who fluently speak in english. they kinda underestimated us, that's what makes us uncomfortable.
Restaurant Tip:
Bring your own mineral water, resort's water is not good and keep you thirsty and also expensive

this hotel is very typical for maldives with very average service for such money... but restaurant and food is o.k. meemu atoll has not best diving in maldives but dive center werner lau in medhufushi is one of best dive centers in maldives.

Amazing holiday. Miss it already

I have only been back home for a few days now and I am missing this hotel already. This is a perfect place to come relax, dive and eat (very yummy) food. The hotel staff were always friendly and had our beautiful water villa ready for us when we arrived. The food at breakfast lunch and dinner was really really good and they always had something different to eat. This is probably the best hotel food I have eaten. The water villas are beautiful and it's great that you can just slip into the water to cool down when tanning on your deck. The beach villas also look nice and I think they would be good to stay in if you dive during the day. The pool is also lovely and gets pretty busy during the day but there are always people coming and leaving so we were able to find seats when we went there. The seaplane ride was a highlight of our trip, the views from the plane and the entire experience was amazing. There's so much to say about this hotel and the beautiful island but it's best to experience it for yourself. Take lots of sunscreen, don't worry about gaining weight (cause you will) and just relax!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Water villas are great - go for the sunrise sight to avoid the harsh afternoon sun.
