Sensational food and forced relaxation!

Very nice stay, the only problem was we had some high winds/rain in mid-May, we lost 2 out of 4 days. Also, the charter seaplane leaves at times determined by the overall guest load, so you could be waiting for a while or in contrast arrive back in Male a few hours before your flight. The distance from Male is a bit of a chore plus it's 400 dollars per person round trip.

Great trip...fun experience in Seaplane transfer from airport to island (you have to pay for though)...well laid out resort...great diving center...nice lagoon to wade/ snorkel in...relaxed feel to the place...good service....would go back in a jiffy...

Resort is very nice and staff friendliness is superb. I would rate the resort overall, considering also the accommodation, as 4 star resort. This is not because I didn't liked it but as I have been in another 5* resort in Maldives, I have comparison.
Food is really great, our family loved the variation.
As there is no house reef, snorkeling trip are held every day (if I remember correctly then except wednesday) to different snorkeling places (towels and drinking water are provided). This is good as you have free boat ride and different snorkeling places daily if you wish to snorkel every day.
Be aware that if you are staying at beach villa, you may have ants in your bathroom as there is open air bathroom.
Also be aware of mosquitos. I would recommend to take spray along.
I didn't like the fact that wifi connection is only available in the main bar. I would have paid the 100USD for wifi usage for 1 week if it would have been everywhere.

The hotel is perfect to disconnect and relax especially for couple. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I advice to book the Water Villa better than the beach villa as the bathroom of beach villa is outdoor. Which can feel magical to take a shower outside but less magical when you can't keep your stuff outside (even thou it is private) and have to share your toilet with Gekhos and other animals. Moreover the Water villa offers weather more fresh and the ocean life at the bottom of the villas. The resort organizes daily free snorkeling trip which are really nice (if you do not have your equipment you can rent it for the week for 55US$ or 9US$ per day). Additional excursions are available starting from 35US$ up to 90US$.The resort is the only one on the island, so food can feel a bit boring after a week even if they really make a lot of effort to provide different main dish every day. Night life is almost inexistent so pack up books.
