Peacefully nestled on an island renowned for its white sandy beaches and fantastic marine life, this Maldives property allows travelers the chance to experience all the island has to offer. An ideal destination for water sports, the Robinson Club Maldives boasts an area reserved for diving with complete sets of equipment available for hire. A water sports instructor can accompany beginners to easily explore the abundance of coral reefs and colorful fishes. Set amidst tranquil surroundings, there are 75 bungalows and villas located on either the island or over the water. Each accommodation option features a private terrace and interconnecting rooms are available for families as well. As for dining, on-site restaurants feature a wide selection of delicacies complemented with stunning views of the beaches.
The resort arranges domestic flights and boat transfers to reach the resort. The cost of transfers is an automatic surcharge which is added to the total cost. Additionally, bed tax and domestic flight charges of infant are to be paid directly to the resort. Guests are required to provide their flight details at least 3 days prior to arrival to Agoda Customer Service at cs@agoda.com. Full Board Plus includes the following: themed buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks during meals in the Main Restaurant (by glasses wine, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee); yoga and snorkeling equipments are free of charge. Please note that Lagoon Villas and Lagoon Suite are not suitable for children under 12 years of age due to safety reasons. Please note that this hotel operates exclusive contracts with other vendors to service specific markets and thus these rates do not apply to nationals of Austria, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom. We apologize for the inconvenience. Children and extra beds:- Guests over 3 years old are considered as adults.

Domestic Flight Transfer Notice
To reach the resort, a domestic flight transfer will be arranged after which may be combined with a shared speed boat transfer thereafter. A surcharge may be collected directly at the resort.
Your flight details and full names of your traveling party will be required at the time of booking or at least 3 days prior to your arrival. Upon receipt of your flight details the resort will organize all transfer requirements. The hotel’s airport representative will meet you at the Arrival Hall.
To secure your seat for the return transfers, it is required that you book at least 3 days in advance. Agoda nor the hotel can guarantee your transfers for bookings received on same day or within 3 days of arrival. • If your flight arrives AFTER midnight, you must book the room a day before to guarantee early check in or you may opt to stay overnight close to the airport. Best Value for Money in the Maldives

In general no complaints.
Spa is decent.
Food is good.
Lovely scenery.

Onyl complaint is that we have to lease the non motorised watersports equipment which come as standard in most other resorts.
I think that the biggest bugbear was having to rent a life jacket to go snorkelling around the island, which I think is necessary as there are no life guards to aid you in case u run into trouble on the reefs.
Think that a renewable safety aid like a life jacket should not be rented out, after having paid a fair amount for the hotel.
Note also that the hotel makes a fair deal of cash from u on the domestic flight, which can easily be purchased from transmaldivian.
Restaurant Tip:
Bring your own soft drinks and avoid paying the high amounts out of meal times for a drink.

Great food, staff, rooms ok...
staff and food, lovely island overall

the resort is lovely overall and relatively well maintained, however it's obvious that there are some design issues (ie. rotting boardwalks, painfully slow internet, things just a bit off kilter in the rooms)-- however, the resort is working on repairs and could see evidence during our stay, so i would expect only improvements from here out.
the staff was lovely and friendly-- plenty of options if you would like to participate in activities (or not). the food options were excellent, despite being there 13 days, we felt tehre was ample variety offered at each meal to keep things fresh (and was looking forward to a few repeat items-- some of the curries, tuna tartare and bbq ribs!!).
despite it being a primarily german resort, our lack of german did not pose a problem-- everyone spoke great english. it does limit the ability to meet people or strike up candid conversations on the dive trips or on outings when you are the only non- german speakers, but it didn't really limit us nor did we feel we missed on much!
overall, a lovely resort-- it's a solid 4 star (with 5 star quality food), great value for the price. could be worth upgrading to a otw or beach villa-- the garden villa's were really dark (but am not there to hang out in the room anyways!!)
