Shopping Tip:
If you are about to exchange money from Dollars to Ruffiya, you should keep the reciept, other wise, they won't let you exchange the money back to Dollar.

Nice resort close to the Male int'l airport

A great hotel located approx. 25 min by a speed-boat off the Male Int'l airport with a great beach. What I liked most was the different types of clients who were staying there - newly-weds, friends of newly-weds couples, middle-aged couples, single travelers, retired people coming from anywhere in the world - East Asia, the Subcontinent, the Maldives, Western Europe and the North America.
Reef is OK to snorkel and is one of the best compared to Baros and Paradise Island.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do the island-hoping tour on a dhoni to witness how local people do live
