If you are looking for a bugdet holidays in Maldives then WhiteShell Beach Inn is a good choice. It is decently connected with the airport and the capital city, its location is very good (in terms of value for money) and the hotel service is excellent.

my husband and I loved Whiteshell Beach Inn, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are big and clean. It has its own beach which is 20 steps from the room. They are very good in organizing trips to the other islands and they charge a very reasonable price. They also serve good food for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We had a great time in whiteshell, staff are very nice and sweet and friendly, they surprised my friend with a birthday cake and decorated our room with beautiful flowers. We went to snorkeling trip and they held our hand the whole time to make sure our safety ( as I can't really swim), it was amazing to see all kind of colorful fishes swimming with you, I will never forget this!! The staff even woke up extra early to prepare the breakfast for us as we needed to check out early to catch the ferry back to airport. They don't have to do that but it showed how kind-hearted they are, we were so grateful and touched by this and will definitely come back again.
It was also a good way to see the local life in here, people are very friendly, affordable souvenir shops, good variety of food in restaurants..again the people makes the island wonderful!!

Best Stay in Maafushi!! Everything's perfect here!

We went for our first holiday in Maldives with a rather extended family (4 couples & a child). Booked through Agoda to get confirmed rooms and we weren't disappointed!
Wasantha (Hotel Manager) was kind enough to accept our request for beach facing rooms. He upgraded one of our rooms to accommodate our request.
This Guest House is the only one in Maafushi with a private beach. There is no better place to stay in Maafushi than White Shell.
Rooms were very nice. Staff were courteous and very helpful.
We had a real good time at White Shell Beach Inn. Thanks to them for making our Holiday memorable.
Looking forward to go there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
1. You must Snorkel on the reef just opposite the Guest House.
2. Do visit Picnic Island. It's a very nice experience.

This hotel is strategically placed in front of the best beach on Maafushi Island. Staring out of my bedroom window, I was able to see not only the turquoise water cascading over rocks directly in front of the hotel but also a resort island in the distance. The rooms are large, well maintained and clean. All of the staff members are friendly and more than willing to answer any of your questions. I truly felt at home here. Being a solo traveler, you can often be made to feel unwelcome or uneasy especially when surrounded by couples or families. This wasn't the case at WhileShell. The staff are talkative happy to sit and chat with you. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. There is a distinct benevolent ambiance which sets the tone for the entire place. The day trips are also well priced and regularly run. If returning to Maafushi, I would definitely stay here again.

The location is a big plus as it is just steps away from the beach. Perfect location for suntan or simply relax under the coconut trees facing the sea.
Staff prepared a warm welcome for us. Throughout our stay, the staff are accomdating to our requests. Room is ok with basic neccesities. Hot shower available. However, bed is a bit old and hard.
Overall, whiteshell beach inn is a nice place to stay for those who wants close proximity to beach.
Restaurant Tip:
Breakfast is good and served with a glass of orange/pineapple juice on top of coffee/tea. Dinner is so so...can be improved. There are restaurants offering buffets in Maafushi island at just less than 8usd per pax. Much more variety and cheap too.
