Service is poor and the manager is very rude

1.Service: The manager is rude and staff are not kind. Under their rules, if your room is not ready by the time they told you, "you have to wait. It sort of made me feel helpless at that time but I couldnt find anywhere to complain about the service to. Plus, wireless wasnt working properly.
2.food:there were only two restaurants which left not much choices for us.
3.transportation: after a 9 hour flight, it is absolutely not a good idea to take a 55min seaplane. Plus, ususally it takes even longer on the seaplane since other guests need to get off.
4.cleaness: the rooms are dirty.

wireless is poor. better prepare enough movies instead of downloading there.

Amazing relaxing experience in the best hotel ever

It was amazing experience for me and my wife as it was our honeymoon. The hotel is very romantic especially the Mosaic restaurant at the pool. It is more than amazing and you feel like VIP from the staff treatment. I enjoyed one day trip to local island with snorkeling activity. The food is good although it is very expensive. I paid daily 250 USD for me and my wife for dinner. The in-villa dinning is not good at all. The open dinner at breeze restaurant is very good but expensive and what is good is that they do different themes everyday. I really enjoyed the stay. If you like vital life and night life so it is not the right place to visit or in other words do not go to Maldives at all. IT is a place for Romantic isolated moments where you can extremely enjoy the honeymoon. I enjoyed having our private pool in the villa. It is highly recommended for Muslims who want privacy for Hijab.

take some nuts with u as this will assist you withstanding the hunger during the day until the dinner time

First impressions are important

On our arrival, my wife and I were greeted by several staff who were friendly. We arrived early in the morning before the usual check-in time, but our room was made available for us and I requested to leave as late as possible when we checked-out and the staff were able to accommodate my request. The food at each of the resorts restaurants was also fantastic. Especially at Breeze for breakfast, there were a good variety of food and specialty dishes each day. Although are villa was very nice, there were some small issues. In many places, the wood siding of the villas had fallen off or was hanging off and really should be repaired as it made them (villas) look old and shabby. Additionally, although the resort knew that both my wife and I were staying at the villa, there was only one coffee cup and one wine glass, so I had to request an extra of both. Additionally, there was a very large selection list for the mini-bar, but more than fifty percent was either not available or stocked for us to choose from. I had complained to the staff about this, as well as the missing cups and glasses and even our jacuzzi tub was broken when we arrived, but the staff manager was very apologetic and offered us a free dinner at Breeze, sent a staff member to repair our tub that night while we were at dinner and spoke to the staff about improving the mini-bar in our villa. The rest of our stay went without incident and my wife and I fully enjoyed the rest of our stay at Zitahli.

The Indigo Bar is a great location to relax, have a drink, and catch the setting sun each night

Location is far sea plane 45min to arrived

This hotel is no good for snokeling and can't see any fish in your water villa. my personal rating for the services is so so.
no free life jacket have to rent and request more drinking water the house keeping told us have to charge USD5. but the end is no charges from the bill. the food is so so not much choice. The night fishing also no good.

Fantastic private honeymoon retreat

My wife and I spent an amazing four days of R&R at Zitahli at the end of our honeymoon. From the very start we were impressed with the service we were given. As soon as we arrived at Male airport we were immediately taken through to the bus which drove us the five minutes to the waiting lounge at the Maldivian Air Taxi. We only had to wait a few more minutes before boarding the flight to Zitahli. The flight took 50 minutes and on reaching the resort we were surprised to find we were able to check in to our Super Deluxe Aqua Villa immediately. When we entered the room, we discovered that the staff had placed a complimentary bottle of French Champagne in an ice bucket for us! Perfect to enjoy on the first night.
We could not have hoped for a better villa -very spacious, great sized private pool, perfect view, beautiful bathroom, all very private and direct access to the ocean from your own steps. Definitely worth the extra spend for the private pool option if you can afford it.
There were two different aqua villa locations. Both sets of aqua villas have unique advantages. The villas on the main promenade have more privacy, although the villas on the side opposite reception are closer to the best section of reef.
The island is a true boutique size -everything is accessible with a short walk. The spa has a great range of options at reasonable prices. Room service options were limited.
Such a fantastic finish to an incredible few weeks away.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Worthwhile bringing own snorkel and goggles if staying for a while, although daily rental is very reasonable. Dive shop has good gear and dive boat is fantastic, although SCUBA diving is very expensive and charged per dive with additional charge for BCD, tank and wetsuit.
Bear in mind that all charges have an additional 10% service charge plus 8% GST added to quoted figures as with everywhere else in Maldives.

Amazing resort for Muslims
Halal Food, Mosque, Environment and In-Villa Dining

Being a Muslim couple on honeymoon the Zitahli Resort proved to be perfect for us as it offered exceptional sea views as well as Halal food options and a Mosque. We were quiet keen to find a resort which ensured we did not have to eat seafood or vegetarian meals for the duration of our stay.
Other offerings of the Zitahli Resort we enjoyed were:
- Buffet Breakfast. Only criticism would be the lack of variety offered.
- Super Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool. Felt like a home away from home. The pool was very useful as it made our stay more private as we did not have to utilise the common outdoor pool with the other guests.
- Indoor jacuzzi. Excellent way to relax after a day of relaxing.
- Friendly staff. Only issue would be the lack of english at times.
Only thing to be mindful of would be the little lizards and crabs which also call the Zitahli resort home as they may be a little annoyance to some people.

Great place food was average but the resort could do with some entertainment in the evenings and its quite dark walking to and from the villa at night along the jetty. over all 8-10
