easy to get there from airport

the ideal place for a busienss stop-over. quick acess to airport. personal very helpful. they provided me the room until 8 p.m. the next night since I had a late departure. Helped also for boat transfer to Male. All in All very friendly staff, rooms are OK.

Clean hotel but poor service

Generally, the room is clean. The bathroom is clean too though there is a strange smell in that. It's a good place to just spend your overnight stay.
However, two dissatisfying things occurred, which ruined its good impression on us.
1. At night, the staff told us our taxi was to pick us up at 7:00, so he'd send us a morning call at 6:30 next morning. We can have some light breakfast before leaving. Though, when we entered the room, we didn't see any phone and wondered how they'd send us a morning. Would that be a knock call? Whatever, we never worried about that. But!! The next morning, no morning call at all. What's more, we cannot find any staff at the reception or kitchen. So, obviously, no breakfast! That's fine. However, the hotel door was locked. The taxi driver and us looked at each other but found no way to unlock the door. How ridiculous!! Luckily, the driver has the mobile number of one staff in that hotel and at last he called that person and that person told us in which room the staff slept. Finally, we went to that room and knocked them up. The delay almost made us miss the seaplane!
2. Our transfer fee was included into the fee we paid to the hotel. However, when the taxi sent us to the male international airport, he told us the hotel boss was not a good person and often refused to give him the money and insisted asking for the taxi fee from us. This was not good though we were not sure whether his words were true or not. If that's true, that's too bad. But if that's not true, the hotel boss should no longer use that taxi. Whatever, I think that is the one the hotel boss should be able to improve.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If your room fee has included the transfer fee, do remember to ask the hotel guy to pay for the taxi before the taxi takes you from the hotel.

Ok if you have to stay a night, before a flight

if you need a stopover, and a place to put your head, then this place is ok it is new the rooms are clean, but the beds are small, and the noise levels are high, you can hear people going up and down the stairs it does not help that the manager wears, hard soled shoes on the tile floors so you can hear him go up and down the stairs all night.

Convenient for an overnight stay

We stayed at the Hulhumale Inn as we arrived in Male late and needed a place for an overnight stay and to be ready early in the morning to catch our seaplane to our Resort.
It was a humble little hotel that best served its purpose. The rooms were small and simple but that's all we needed for an overnight stay.
When we arrived at the airport we were greeted by a staff member from Hulhumale Inn. He ordered a taxi to get us to the hotel. The taxi fare was covered to and from the hotel by Hulhumale it was such an easy and convenient transfer.
The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.
The hotel is not grand but who needs to go all out for an overnight stay. Highly recommended.

Not bad small hotel for overnight stay before heading to the island on next morning. Room is ok and not dirty. Friendly and helpful staff to arrange and coordinate with the island hotel on meeting the speed boat transfer schedule.

it was fine for one night - clean and comfortable, but pricey for what it offers. location is convenient but not picturesque.
one negative - they charged us and a single traveler both for a privatae taxi which we then shared. thus they effectively charge double the going rate. cheeky and leaves a bad impression.

Comfortable and Close to the Airport for Transfer.

This hotel is close to the airport and suitable if you are looking for 1 night to stay before your water taxi to the Island resorts. They arrange a taxi to pick you up (chargeable), organising this with the resort hotel you to make sure you are picked up at the right time.
There is nothing around the area so purely a sleepover stop. However there is a small local mini mart next door.

we stayed at this hotel for one night, where transfering to a resort the next morning. the service was very nice and everyone was friendly. did not however like the 2 men standing at our door wanting to get paid for carrying our bags a flight of stairs, as i had carried them for a lot further. the room ws nice although very small. there was a tv but you had to pay to watch it. the bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drain. made me feel ill.

after waiting about an hour plus we finally got to the hotel where we were greeted with a warm towel and orange juice.the staff are very friendly although the hotel is small.deluxe room was very clean and had a large bathroom.wifi connection is great here compared to other island.
