Decent place for business traveler

The rooms are decent, and the service is prompt. Just make sure you get a taxi driver who knows where this hotel is, because the first taxi driver took us to Mookai Hotel instead.
Just a note, the charges from Agoda says this hotel provides taxi transfer to airport, but there is no such service from them during our arrival and departure from Male. We are forced to pay for the taxi fare on both occasion.
Restaurant Tip:
There is no restaurant around this hotel, you will need to walk or travel to the area near the jetty to airport for more choice.

Situated close to the port and wholesale market, but the hotel has large, clean rooms with a restaurant serving good food and very efficent staff. Choose higher floors to be away from traffic noise.

First time to stay with shared living room and kitchen with other guests in a two bedroom suites. Newly renovated, nice and tidy rooms. Great service staffs are very helpful.

i have been to maldives for business trip so many times and i always stay in mookai suites. i have treid many hotels but no other hotel like this one. if you compare the price, size of room, facility, location. i gaurantee this is one of the best for business traveller. the staff is well performed and the hotel/room is clean. the location is probably a bit far from the jetty but consider that male is pretty small. it is only some distance of walking. there are many restaurants around the neighborhood that you can sit and eat or even in the hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
there are plenty of restaurants in male. you can eat any kind of food even thai food. the taste may be different from real taste as they adapt to suit the people but then you will get a scent of maldivions. the distance to the restaurants is very near and they are on the main road for you to select. but please note this is muslim country so no alcohol allow. you may find fruit beer (no alcohol) for a drink and hang out.

my stay was spacious, comfortable and without any serious shortcomings. the room and bathroom were clean and with basic amenities that one would normally expect from a hotel. outside of the room was a spacious lounge, kitchen and dining area shared with the neighboring room. both the lounge and separate bedoom were well lit by natural light. there is good internet access in the rooms via a reasonably priced paid subscription. the hotel is within easy walking distance of the port, customs, and bank of maldives. i would return to stay at this hotel in the future.

Nice hotel with a comfortable room

I have stayed in this hotel about four-five times when I am on business trip to Maldives. I like the location which is more quiet than other hotel. The room size is larger than other hotel in the same cost. The room is also clean and tidy.
Nightlife Tip:
There is no nightlife in Male' if you are into clubing or pub. It's the only thing that you miss.

I'm on business trip to Maldives many times in the last 2 months and I always select this hotel due to the convenient location and hotel condition. Every facility in the hotel suit the business. You may need to pay for internet access but speed is fantastic, compare to the free internet in the hotel I stayed before is undoubtable. The services and staffs performance is wonderful and very friendly. They are always prompt for helps.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel located quite far from the jetty but walkable distance. It's a good location for the city area as you can go to main road of Male' easily. The hotel room itself is quite big and comfortable to stay in, clean and bright for both daytime and night time.

Worth your money for accomodation in Male'

i have stayed in mookai suites one time before and decided to try out other hotel/suites. i have to come back to mookai suites. it's in a good location and peaceful area. the room is big and clean. services of the staff is very good and very friendly. since male' is a small island so you don't need to stay clost to the jetty. mookai suites is a walkable distance and very close to many nice restaurants and supermarkets. the cost of rental is worth paying compare to other hotels in the same price.

(1) Place: Not near jetty, need taxi transfer. There're hotels much more convenience.
(2) Price: 4 star pricing with 2 star quality. Not worth at all.
(3) People: Not friendly staffs, except bell boy.
(4) Product: Basic of the basic of the basic. Not even have shampoo, and TV did not work well.
(5) Their website shows very decent room with great seaview. Do not trust! I repeat: Do not trust! These pictures are there to fool us.
