Lovely Hotel

Although it was a short stay before we proceeded to hilton iru fushi, we enjoyed the stay as the rooms were quite new and very clean. The location of the hotel is very nice as well as it is at the city center of Male. The buffet breakfast was OK though, nothing to shout about. The service was perfect as they arranged our transfer from Traders Hotel to Hilton well ahead and everything went smoothly.

Good option while in Male

This is our second time in Male in 4 months. We needed an overnight stay before getting on our liveaboard for diving.
We were previously advised to stay at the only hotel on the same island as the airport so as to avoid the hassle of boat transfers. With this trip, I realize its no hassle at all.
The folks at Traders were extremely prompt and professional. The boat ride was a mere 7 minutes and the hotel is a 30 second walk from the jetty.
The room is very decent and the breakfast is good. The reception was also very prompt in arranging for our transfer to the airport the next day.
All in all, good stay and much better value. I'll choose Trader's again when I am next in Male.

This is a good and wise choice to stay in Male. Worth the money even though a bit pricey.
Shopping Tip:
Its cheaper and more choice to shop the souvenier in Male town compared to those in Island local village.

The room does not have good ventilation. The floor in the room turns damp after you have a shower and is slippery. We had to put the towels all over the floors. Other thing else are fine.

i was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. i picked it solely based on easy access to the airport so expected something dingy. but the rooms were lovely and the pool fantastic. the foot was excellent too

We stayed for one night only, the staff were very friendly, the room was neat and tidy. Male is only a small island so within easy reach of everything, nice coffee shop on the ground level.

Good hotel with very friendly staff

Unfortunately I had an accident getting off boat at airport - dislocated my shoulder.
All the staff, from the boat crew to management to housekeeping, to front office to concierge could not have been more helpful in looking after me as i had to go from the airport to the hospital and back to the hotel. I had to change my flight also but was well looked after by all as I spent an extra day in the hotel.
Great team work, and thank you for all your help. My shoulder is fine now!

easy for business traveler to contact with all government housing or department because the hotel is very near. we can walk in a few minute and come back to hotel to rest
