The famous Gawdawpalin Temple is next door and the Archaeological Museum a few steps away. Horse carts take visitors around the many other historic sites and boats set out to watch the sunset over the river. If you want to find a Myanmar looking hotel, this one's for you. Another good value is that you can visit "The old Bagan" very easily and then after your tired day, you can enjoy a cold drink and the sunset by the Eyawadee river. This hotel is my best place in Myanmar.

excellent location; large rooms; quiet rooms
The hotel is ideally located for visiting the surroundings pagodas and temples. The welcoming was warm and friendly and formalities were done fast and efficient. The rooms are very large, clean, with good air conditioning. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a huge and beautiful garden. Large swimming pool is istuated on site. I would always return to this hotel if and when I return to Bagan.
