Good location but needs some attention
Location on the lake, views of sunset and rise, friendly staff

The location and staff were quite good. The resort is further south in the lake so the traffic was less and the ease to get to some of the sites was a bonus. As a trade off, it took almost 2 hours to get to the resort from the airport, although it was a smooth transition as we arranged it through the hotel.
It was low season so there were few other people staying at the resort. Our room, the junior suite, was quiet and at a great spot for watching sunset from the balcony. The room itself (more like a small 2 bedroom apartment) was nicely laid out but needs a bit of attention. Some fixtures were broken, the bathroom is a bit rundown and the furniture has an old look to it. These are minor points but they extend to some other areas as well, like the pool side chairs and towels.
The food is unfortunately not a highlight. As you are in the middle of the lake you are a bit stuck for where to eat. I would suggest eating on the lake before returning in the evening.

fun to stay on the water
unique location, 'Robinson Crusoe' adventure, pretty room
8.3
Our stay was great. The fact that we went in low season meant that there was only one other family in the entire hotel; a bit eery but ok. They didn't realise that if you're on the water, you are cut off from everything else.
The only downside was the part of the lake the hotel overlooked was a major waterway, so motorboats were speeding by very loudly from 2.30am on.
