comfortable but confusing pricing system

The room was spacious and comfortable,but
1) room service prices (food) and their restaurant prices are confusing and not the same. Some items are more expensive than in the restaurants. Some are cheaper.When asked, staff gave lame excuses/explanations and did not refund me.

Our stay met expectations, after reading all the reviews here, and given the relatively affordable price we knew not to expect full on 5 star facilities.
We spent one night here for a visa run, and it was perfect for that purpose. Pools are nice, food isn't great but there's good variety (don't spend extra to get imported steak!!). Staff were a mixed bag, plenty of staff around, some more helpful than others. Casino is smallish but open 24 hours, so if you want to park yourself at the Blackjack table it's fine, dealers were helpful and friendy. All in all not bad, but certainly strange. Hardly any other guests, looks like it would have kicked arse in the 80s.

This is our second time at Andaman clu, the first was in May last year. Excellent value to money hotel and equiped with all the activities that our group likes. There are golf, gaming, spa, swimming pool, and snooker club. That's enough to keep us busy for the 3 days. Perfect.
The bathroom could use some improvement though.

We stayed 3 nights and that was about all we could take. The location is absolutely amazing and views are stunning - but: there is no access to the ocean, expect to be soaking yourself in the hotel swimming pool only. There is not so much to do in the hotel itself, I tried to go for walk and was discouraged (nasty monkeys and vipers, great!).Confusingly, the hotel charges Thai Baht and is also on Bangkok time zone - despite being in Myanmar. The staff is friendly but clueless and do not really speak European languages (with exception of reception ). On the other hand, if your idea of holiday is a lot of gambling, then this may be your dream place!

We thought the hotel had been refurbished, but there was no sign if this in our room, which was still dated and there was black mould growing in the waldrobe and shower.
Views are nice from the hotel, as it sits in very large grounds and is situated on an island between Burma and Thailand.
Remember your 750 thb for visa and boat crossing, also the hotel does require a thb cash deposit on check in.
Restaurant Tip:
Chinese restaurant upstairs is nice. Good food and not too expensive.

Went to Andaman club to renew Thai visa . It's located on an Island in Myanmar ( Burma)just a short ride by hotels boat from their jetty north of Ryong. Hotel is big lots of facilities but few guests . Great for a short stay, service good, we were outnumbered by staff!!
Great views.
Travel tip:
If you need a visa run in comfort stay a night and avoid the trip by longtail boat from Ranong pier.

We were booked for a three night stay and only stayed one night. The tours that they advertise have a miniman person and you have to pay for six people so makes it ridiculously expensive and there is nothing to do around the hotel. The TV has very limited channels. I would only go to this hotel for one night. The hotel also charged us for three nights even though we stayed for one. Agoda gave us one night back so that was good of them. overall very disappointed.
