Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Central Hotel Yangon Info
This is a good choice for staying downtown near the business district, a couple of the major markets, and within walking distance of Sule Pagoda. The large Bogyoke Market is within walking distance and is a must visit for anyone coming to Yangoon. This market has everything Burmese and a bit more. Gems, jewelry, textiles, puppets, and wood carvings can be found here. The Sule Pagoda is a bit of a walk but not too far but a taxi can make the trip easier. The hotel has an excellent Chinese restaurant that serves delicious Cantonese food, another which serves western dishes and a coffee shop that serves drinks as well as coffee.

The hotel sat next to Traders, so the street vendors were more aggressive. Sometimes you would need to walk a few blocks before they stop their touting.
Hotel Feature Tip : Some hotel staff may approach you regarding currency exchange. Their rates were better than the banks' or the hotel's.

Located in the city, close to the Yangon railway station, and access is also felt good. In addition, an employee of the hotel but also through English, did not respond.
The hotel is a bad exchange rate.
