very nice lobby...professional staff...helpful personnel. Breakfast needs more items for muslim (halal) patrons... Exceptional location ....well run establishment...
From the moment you walk in to the lobby..you realize that you have come to a hotel..where the staff take pride in presenting a memorable stay to all their patrons..The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are second to none..I have stayed at a number of hotels in Yangon..and I can say without a doubt that this is the best..

Very quiet, clean and pleasant.
Reception staff helpful. Carpet in rooms stained but rest of room was ok.
No atmosphere in restaurant and bars. Probably due to lack of tourists.
Too many private functions. I stayed at this hotel on three occasions. On the first two occasions there was a wedding party each evening. This didn't affect me as I went out until late but it seems they have permanent notices displayed apologising for any inconvenience and noise! Lots of people complained. On my last visit there was a private function that took up the whole pool area! Some people were told that the pool area was closed to the guests. A number of us complained and eventually got some sun-beds (4). Some people had to lay on the concrete. I had to ask 6 people to get a drink, and 3 people to get an ash-tray; it got better as I only had to ask 3 times for a second drink - probably because there were some people shouting and complaining. We sat surrounded by tables and piles of dishes with any view of the pool obscured by large flags flapping in front of us. I complained strongly to the Guest Relations Manager who said she was sorry! I didn't even get a free beer for my inconvenience.
If they take bookings for very large functions then they should not take guest bookings. They have functions every week.
The hotel is quite isolated and only 2 restaurants close by. you have to take a taxi if you want more choice.
Do not stay at this hotel.
Nightlife Tip : Don't stay here - there's nothing much around this hotel.

Location is very important for me. the name of hotel must be updated for the traveler. Location is very convenient for me to do the business in Yangon. Their Chinese restaurant have delicious food, my clients like it very much.
