Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Business hotel, most complete amenities
In house money changer and ATM - only hotel with this service in Yangon
9.3
Great stay, big rooms and professional staff. Conceirge were very helpful in negotiating with taxis for us and suggesting places to go. More quiet and intimate than staying at Sedona or Traders. Noodle bar at breakfast was also a plus.
Shopping Tip:
The Scott Market is closed on Mondays. Also note that credit cards are not accepted almost anywhere, even Chatrium when u pay your final add ons.

Nice luxury hotel with big rooms
swimming pool, bathroom, and concierge
6.3
the chatrium hotel is a very nice luxury hotel with reasonably rates. the rooms are large with the bathroom having separate tub and shower. after a week "up country" in myanmar, it was nice to have so much room to stretch out and relax. we especially enjoyed the swimming pool area, great poolside service and clean and hygienic pool water. the concierge was helpful and friendly in helping us navigate the city of yangon.
the only negative during our stay was the wait for the room. we got in at about 12 noon, and check-in officially starts at 2 pm. normally if the room is available, they would allow us to check-in earlier. other people were waiting for their rooms, but we observed that they checked in after a short wait. we asked if our room was available at 1pm, 1:30 pm, and 1:45pm, and each time they said no. at exactly 2 pm, we asked again, and then they said it was available. we suspect that they purposely made us wait because of a slight disagreement that we had with the front office staff about internet use during our wait. a luxury hotel should not be so petty. after that, everything was fine.

Large Hotel with good features
Good service, Corner Delux Rooms worth paying for,
7
a large hotel and thus with many ammenities used by tour groups: pool, business center, shops.
this is not your place if you want a small boutique hotel with lots of local charm. this hotel could be in any asian capital with its western style and japanese restaurant.
corner delux rooms are worth paying for as normal rooms (most of the hotel) have their patio doors sealed so you cannot access the outside and see the great views from ther patios. corner delux rooms have open doors.
what is not to commend about this hotel is the policy of one wifi connection per room which is an outdated policy in this day and age of multiple electronic devices and more than one person per room. in general the wifi works poorly and should be upgraded.
the executive delux rooms are not really worth paying for as they are not all on the top floor of the hotel - as low as the 6th floor and the executive floor check in and out is much slower than the main reception desk as the executive floor has just a single receptionist which gets backed up at peak entry and exit times.

プールを楽しみに行ったのだか、プール施設は少し貧弱な印象を受けた。周りには、高いレストランしかなくも不便。ダウンタウンに行くのにタクシーで2-3ドル。

Restaurant Tip:
อาหารจีนอร่อยมาก ปริมาณเยอะ ถ้าไป 2-3 คนควรสั่งจานเล็กเดียวทานไม่หมด
