Good hotel, nice rooms

Although the hotel is a bit overpriced (like all hotels in Myanmar), we liked to stay in Chatrium and it was very good. They only disadvantage is that they host large (business) groups and do very loud events outside. Other guests shouldn't be annoyed with this. Breakfast was quite good.

we booked this hotel via agoda and were allocated twin delux instead of double delux on arrival. however,hotel staff changed the room on second request (initially no room left to be changed) later in evening. initial room is very substandard to second room despite of the same layout. it was stain on carpet and some dripple from air conditioner onto floor.
i felt that we paid more than it is worth. i think that it is a general condition of hotels in yangon.
the good things are very friendly staffs, nice breakfast longue with options of breakfast.

Great hotel and charming Asian style services
We had breathtaking view of the famous Shwedagon from our bedroom.. specially at night!

The hotel has all the required service for 5star hotels...free and excellent wifi connections, relatively small but clean swimming pool, just few minutes taxi ride to most locations, plenty and excellent food menu selection at the hotel; specially, the breakfast; although we slept late and missed most during our stay:- ))
Almost all staff members were super helpful, but avoid approaching Eric at front desk, who somehow likes to say "NO" for every request, without even verifying facts. He may need to change his negative attitude and some more personal training...
Last but not least, the hotel has clean but small gym, sauna and great jacuzzi...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Of course, visit to Shwedagon and Game city for kids (old but okay standard for Burma)

the hotel was overall very nice. the breakfast buffet in the morning outstanding and service very good. everything in myanmar is getting pricey and this hotel was no exception. rooms could use slight refurbishing (e.g., carpets). slightly away from central yangon but short taxi ride.

The hotel located near by the river very nice view. The room is very nice ambience and full amenity in the bathroom. For facilities is perfect. The breakfast is very nice.
Shopping Tip:
Do not miss Scott Market. You can enjoy shopping at the market. Famouse for Jade and Silver there are many shop for selection.

Hotel is well maintained. The room is quite spacious even we had put one extra bed in, there is still enough space. The sofa is something we do not expect to have in the standard room, but it did help our stay much more comfortable. In-room and all over hotel wifi internet complimentary is something extremely exceed Myanmar hotel standard and did great help for our trip which did not have mobile roaming service. Breakfast is also good.

Restaurant Tip:
Chinese food is probably the best restaurant inside the hotel. Others such as european, breakfast buffet or even room service food are just average.
