Excellence Services with the mind of Burmese

Excellence Service and friendly consideration from Clover gave us a wonderful experience in Yangon! Although we got to Yangon with some mess, the service and arrangement from Clover made us ease. Good wifi provided in everywhere in hotel! choices and quality of breadfast quiet good!

good value for a two-star hotel

functional and helpful
7.3
comfy beds, quiet air-con. boxed breakfast to take with us for the early-start flight to bagan was like a 1950's throw-back - boiled egg, dryish white sliced sandwich with the crust cut off, smeared thinly with strawberry jam and a banana - was welcome and amusing. most other travellers arrived at the airport with their boxed breakfasts.
Restaurant Tip: Turn right outside the hotel and walk along the road for a few yards. Daw Shan local restaurant served the best noodles we ate in Myanmar.

Nice hotel, helpful staff, good location

Friendly staff
8.3
My wife and I stayed here when we arrived in Yangon for 3 nights and then again a few days later for 2 nights after a trip to Bagan. The hotel has a very helpful staff that helped us book transportation, gave us helpful tips and held our luggage and laundry until we arrived back again for our second stay at the hotel. The two rooms we stayed in on our separate stays were spacious, but not luxurious. The bathrooms for each room smelled like a sewer (which may be the norm for a lot of Myanmar), so we just kept the door closed. The water coming out of the taps wasn't clear, but again this is the norm for Myanmar... The breakfast was good and there's a great pagoda view in the dining room. The wifi was very good and the TV channels were a good selection. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, although you can find cheaper options in Myanmar if you look around.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: You can see the Shwedagon Pagoda in the upstairs dining room. It's a great view. Make sure to visit the Pagoda while you're in Yangon as it's amazing. It's also walking distance from the hotel if you're okay with walking for about 15 or so minutes.

This small hotel with small and plane rooms has the friendly officers . You can stay here easily. The location is good if you want to access Swedagon Pagoda. The room prices are rather expensive comparing with other countries.

good location and interesting place

the staff are very friendly

it was a very intersting experience staying at the hotel. it has a beautiful view. i can see the biggest pagoda in yangon from my room. the food was good with alot of fresh fruits.the staff were very friendly and there are many stalls near the hotel. we can see people selling sireh in a very interesting bowl. the most interesting experience was, when we reached the hotel we were greeted by the staff wearing their traditional costumes that was the men wearing the sarung with the shirt tucked in and they were very friendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: nice view and very ineresting yet friendly people. there many taxis and cheap fares. it was just a walking distance from hotel to the pagoda.

Very convenience hotel.

very near Chawedagon Pagoda and can see the pagoda from the room

The Clover is very good hotel. Even it' s 2 star hotel, but the room is clean and not small , the staff are so friendly. I also would like to recommend a restaurant in the top floor of the hotel. The food is good, inexpensive and able to see the pagoda from the restaurant.
Shopping Tip: The Scott Market is very big and has variety of goods.

Big room and helpful staff

Fast Wireless Connection
6.3
This is the first time we checked into Clover Hotel, and we were greeted with a welcoming drink when we arrived, the room is big and the wireless connection is fantastic but the bathroom has some smells, but overall we really our stay at this hotel and our tour guide brought us to a lot of interesting places, and we walked to nearby food places but the streets are quite dark so dont try to walk alone, there would be improvement to make the toilet and bathroom not smelly.
