Modern Hotel with large room (end 02 type room)
The Yummiest Crispy Hong Kong chicken Rice with green Chilli fish sauce
8
our first time in yangon. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
the rooms were clean and large. the hotel staff were efficient however could do with improvement on the extra smiles and service.
breakfast was ordinary, though we always look forward to the crispy hk chicken rice with the the wickiest chilly sauce.
hotel airport transfer was a rip-off. needless to say on departure we used a cab, which is $9!

Great location for tourist not for business
6
I choose this hotel because the budget , location and reviews. But I am not get any impressive with this hotel. OK the room is clean but look cheap with cheap decoration. The wifi in my room was very slow
compare with the lobby. Breakfast is so so. The location is great for tourist to walk to the pagoda and park.
Restaurant Tip:
Outside of the hotel , going to main street turn right to the junction ,then turn left to a little slope street.
You will find a hot plate local restaurant that there are many various kind of meat ,sea food and vegetable to put in a 2 style of hot pot soup.

i chose to stay here because i need wi-fi to work. other than that, i think it is too expensive. the hotel is always fully booked as it is quite well-known and popular among businessman and tourist. staff is very helpful. easy to get a cab in front of hotel. good breakfast with quite a lot varieties.

I stayed for more than a week in the Clover Hotel and found it to be a very good experience. I stayed on the 6th floor and had a city view Deluxe room, which was very big with all the important facilities, everything worked fine. All the staff were very attentive and professional throughout my stay. Compared to Thailand it is expensive for what you get, but compared to all the other hotels I stayed in in Myanmar, it is the best package. The elevator is very fast and the restaurant has a reasonable selection of food. Walking distance from Shwedagon Pagoda.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go for a walk around the Royal Lake in the morning, they charge you 2000Ks to go in, but it is a nice walk. If you don't want to pay, you can walk right around the outside, takes about an hour.

3rd time I have stayed at the Clover and have very few complaints. Its generally and comfortable.
But, the modern looking furniture is rather cheap and the pillows are really hard. But, these are minor complaints.
The rooftop restaurant has great views of town and the Shwedagon, yet the breakfast is bland and cold.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A short walk away is a small lake, good for a nice walk around if its not raining
