Good for value hotel
Rooms are big, spacious with nice deco... Staffs are friendly and location is not too bad...

The hotel is very new and clean. The staffs are friendly and the rooms are spacious. I was there with my mother and sister and we are very satisfied with the rooms. A 10 min drive is all we need to go to most of the sightseeing locations. However, breakfast is not as nice as our stay there. There are very few varieties for the breakfast and the food is just normal.

the hotel is new and the rooms are fine. facilitie in the room are functiional and suit the needs quite well. what i like most are internet connection and tea maker, very useful during my stay. rooms lower than the fourth floor do not have good view. that is very unfortunate because it made me feel a little bit trapped. breakfast is delicious, more fruits on the buffet table would be nice.

Good budget hotel.
Clean rooms and attentive staff
6.7
the hotel is centrally located and the rooms are equipped with basic amenities that one would expect from a 2-3 star hotel. although the hotel does not live up to it's beautiful website photos, one can't be too choosy at the moment when on a visit to yangon. all hotels in yangon are over-priced and clover hotel is no exception. it's s supply and demand senario. the breakfast buffet although limited and basic was tasty and well structured.other meals in the hotel were good but high on salt content right through our stay. all staff that we came in contact were attentive, smiling and eager to serve.

The hotel is new and the rooms are fine. Facilities in the room are functiional and suit the needs quite well. What i like most are internet connection and tea maker. Choices of tv channels are quite limited for foreigners. Rooms lower than the fourth floor do not have good view. That is very unfortunate because it made me feel a little bit trapped. Breakfast is delicious, more fruits on the buffet table would be nice.

New hotel with adequate service
7.3
The hotel is new and deluxe rooms are spacious. Facilities in the room are functiional and suit the needs quite well. What i like most is internet connection and coffee maker, do not forget to bring you own tea and coffee of your own to meet your own taste though. Choices of tv channels are quite limited for foreigners. Rooms lower than the fourth floor do not have good view. Breakfast is delicious, more fruits on the buffet table would be nice.

Respectable hotel best suited for a short stay.
Clean and comfortable for a short stop

We stayed at the Clover Hotel for our first night in Myanmar and while satisfied with the standard of the hotel, we were disappointed to find it is somewhat out of town and there aren't a lot of options for dinner nearby (Note: we later found many of the hotels are out of town, options for the city centre are limited in this price range). On the plus side, it is in a quiet area so you should get a decent sleep and it is in better condition than many other hotels in Yangon. In terms of value for money, all accommodation in Myanmar is significantly more expensive than neighbouring countries due to government taxes. This hotel at the agoda rate presents good value for money when compared to other accommodation in Yangon.
Two points of interest:
* we decided to stay a second night and were advised we would have to pay an extra $14 above the agoda rate even though the hotel was nowhere near full. We decided to try another hotel.
* we advised cleaning staff that when we had tried to use the kettle, we found that the prongs in the cord were broken - we did not damage the cord, it was like that when we got to it. No good deed goes unpunished - we then had a battle on our hands at check out as the staff then tried to charge us for the damage.
Restaurant Tip:
Take a right when you leave the hotel, and keep turning right until you are on the opposite side of the block from the hotel to find Golden Happy Hot Pot. We had one of the best meals of our Myanmar holiday there.

Hotel is not far from down town, you can walk around for city view. Also it is very closed with Shewda Pagoda (just 10-15 mins walk). Chinese restaraunt is on located nearby hotel, it is taste good. People is nice and helpful but not much good at english.
Room : it is quite clean in both of bedroom and restroom. However hot water in bathroom is not quite good. You have to turn on for a while for getting hot water in the morning. There is also mutinational for TV including of Thai TV.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you check out in early morning, you can request for breakfast box and get it with check out.

We booked 2 Superior rooms. Rooms had electronic safe which is very helpful in a country that runs on 100% cash.Hotel provided us cloak room facility as we had to travel to Mandalay for 2 days. Staff was very helpful and nice.
