Far away hotel, with awkward feel

Location: About 30 minutes from the city (realistically). In a quick part of town, so nice if you really want to get away. Distance makes it difficult to commute back and forth (about 5,000 Ks. each way). Not close to any attractions but a golf course. Hotel property is on the water, so it's nice to relax on the large deck (though no lounge chairs or the like).
Room: the entire complex looks like a storage facility, except for instead of storage there are rooms. Beds are really comfortable, TV has one English channel (for movies and sports, depending on what the receptionist is watching. Yes, he chooses and you watch). Wifi is okay. Shower is hot but lacking pressure. There is a fridge. There is no restaurant but a kitchen (no vegetarian options). Breakfast was horrific (probably because I'm vegetarian).
Staff: very friendly, though hardly speak English. This is obviously not a foreign tourist hotel (didn't see any foreigners).
I would not advise staying here unless your Burmese and have a good salary. Better off staying in Yangon! You can get decent lodging for same price.
