All in all: great value for money but a bit far from Downtown (taxi to Sule Pagoda possible for 2000 kyats and takes 10-15 minutes.)

Not the best location but taxi/walking possible to downtown Yangon. Staff extremely helpful, provided me with hot water jug for morning coffee. made me tea when I was unwell. Buffet breakfast limited but good. Would stay there again

This hotel must have seen better days. It is quiet, but my room looked a bit unloved. There is a big sign saying how much one has to pay in case something gets damaged. I thought was slightly inappropriate given the state of the whole place.
Staff was ok, but I had the impression there was some sort of a deal with the local taxi drivers. You are much better off just stopping a taxi yourself of which there are many.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You can walk to the Shwedagon Pagoda. It takes 30 minutes.
