From the hotel we can enjoy nice view of golden pagoda I'm on business at Yangon, so, this hotel may not be appropriate, as I find most of the guests are tourist. The facilities of the hotel are old, however, as far as you are here for sight seeing, it should be o.k.. The hotel offers nice view of golden pagoda and very serene atmosphere having the pond and big garden located nearby.
Hotel Feature Tip : In Myanmar, as the mobile phone system is different, even 3G can't work and only web mail can be used (no outlook mail and other mail software). The hotel offers free internet, however, only to use webmail.

Beautiful location on the lake, and a very nicely designed and decorated building and rooms. Our room is somewhat expensive for Burma, but we felt like it was a good value for that price. Unfortunately, you can not access the lake and the wooden walkway directly from the hotel. The location is not really convenient to the downtown area and the sites there -- it would be a long walk, but a quick $1-2 taxi ride so it's not so bad. This is an excellent hotel: Great service, beautiful setting, decent (but not perfect) location. The standards are quite high compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Myanmar. Breakfast was delicious, and the other hotel restaurants looked nice, but I didn't try them. If you want a relaxing get-away from chaotic Yangon, I recommend this place.
Restaurant Tip : If you walk from the hotel towards the Shwedegon Pagoda (a must see sight, of course), at the end of the lake there is a fantastic restaurant called Signature. It has a nice view of the lake, great service, good food, free wi-fi. Dishes are $4-5 and worth every penny.

good location, very beautiful scenery water system is not good (weak showering) My friend and I spents 2 nights at Kwandawgi palace hotel. It's very nice place. In the evening, we enjoyed a walk at the bridge in the park by the hotel. The breakfast is very nice too. It is near Schwedagon pagoda and we can walk there.So we highly recommend this hotel.
