To be honest when we arrived at the hotel we were told that our reservation is cancelled and was quickly relocated to the Royal White Elephant hotel, which was very nice but it anothe story. The MGM didnt look very good thought and at the end we were really happy to be relocated even though the other hotel was much more distant from the center.

Just a regular hotel, neither bad nor good. Our room was on 10 the floor. It was nice and big, relatively new and clean. The breakfast is served on the 3rd floor, where few separate rooms were used to serve breakfast. These rooms were old, dark and creepy. Breakfast was buffet, but not of high standard and poorly refilled. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would try to find another hotel next time I'm in Yangon.

Good room, but it wasn't clean when I arrived. New beds, flatscreen TV with local channels. Great view over the city. Loud K-TV directly above the room. Bathroom drain was clogged and so the bathroom floor was dirty, too. I asked them to check on that but it only happened after the second day. Room phone didn't work. Breakfast was absolutely horrible, served in three windowless rooms and smelly surroundings next to gas containers and two computers. Wifi extremely slow, but worked most of the time.

The room is really old and doesn't match the picture . Lift is terrific old and moving very slow. air con unit is really old , bed , mattress is smelly and bathroom is dirty . no safe deposit box service and feel unsecure leaving belongings in the room
