Micasa Hotel Yangon Info
Located along Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, this hotel with long stay apartments is near the lovely Inya Lake and just off the road to the airport. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, several restaurants with a variety of foods from Burmese to Chinese to various European dishes. The downtown district and its shopping and sightseeing is just about 10 minutes away, and most things in Yangon are not far away by car. This is a nice place to stay to appreciate the swaying palm trees and lush greenery that strikingly defines this city as one of Southeast Asia’s greenest cities.

Hotel facilities, staffs performence
It was a good hotel. The room was excellent. We had dinner with friends at the restaurant. The Westen theme night. I was disappointed with my steak. It didn't turn out as I had expected. The breakfast was limited and not very tasty. Staffs were doing great as much as they can. I will stay there next time but will definately skip the breakfast.

Spacious rooms, good location, not crowded at the concierge...friendly staff....good food, clean beds but needs to renovate the bathroom and shower.
needs pest control in the kitchen area, tiny insects are there....
parties on almost every weekends and too busy in preparation...pool is not available for guests..very loud music playing whole night on Valentine day in one of the guest rooms
My mother and I had a wonderful time at this Micasa hotel. We enjoyed meeting our guests in our rooms comfortably. Daily breakfast was great!! We enjoyed all varities of international food and the service is excellent. It's quite easy to get the taxis on the road and airport is not too far from the hotel. We really had a blast at our private party in a banquet room. Plenty of food for a price that we paid for each person and the decorations, set up, karaoke rentals with a staff included ...all staff are wonderful and efficient ..we will definitely come back again.
Hotel Feature Tip : We really enjoyed renting a private banquet room (indoor) for a party. Food is excellent and the staff are efficient.

Lovely and clean, extremely helpful staff.
My family and I (+1 year old baby) stayed here as it had kitchen facilities which suited us better than a hotel.
The rooms were clean and maid service was every day. The maids were great with our young son and nothing was too big or too small to ask for.
Decor is a little bit dated, but hey, it is Myanmar. We know Yangon very well and although this is a bit far from downtown, taxis are relatively cheap and its more peaceful at Micasa.
The mini-mart associated with Micasa is well stocked with essentials, although don't expect fresh produce like milk etc.
The pool was clean and cool, and the gym was adequate.
The room service menu however was fantastic - the quality of the food was excellent and the service was very prompt.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel laundry is expensive, but there are self service washing machines and dryers for residents use. The maids may also be able to assist in performing this service for a small fee.
