Relaxed Hotel
Nice staff, big rooms, reasonable price, great breakfast and pool

we stayed with two adult couples and our 2year old son in a 2 bedroom deluxe room which was very spacious and comfortable - even the provided baby bed was great!
the pool is refreshing after a long day sightseeing or to get the day started, our son loved it. there is free and reliable wifi in the restaurant and around the pool. the fitness center next to the pool is great as well.
overall a very enjoyable balance of attentiveness and relaxed atmosphere, unlike so many tourist hotels in myanmar that need to take care of multiple bus loads every day or try selling expensive dinners with attached culture shows. this feels much more like a normal hotel and a great base for exploring the city/coming home.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the hotel is halfway between the airport and the city center and great for exploring the city as well as base to continue the journey to other parts in myanmar. a perfect choice if immediate proximity to shops and bars are not a must = taxis are easy to get and affordable.
the restaurant next door is pretty good and there are a few more good options hidden off the main road. inya lake in a large public park is just across the street.

We we're satisfied with our spacious room at the micasa hotel. It easily fitted ourselves and our three young children. The interior wasn't fancy, and didn't include a bathtub (shower only), but otherwise it was comfortable and it even had a small kitchen. Staff was very friendly and particulary helpful with the kids. We enjoyed the poolside, which included a adequate babypool. The restaurant offered a nice range of bbq fish and meat and a delicious local chicken salad. It's located a bit out of the city centre. Overall good value for money.

Micasa Yangon

My family and I (+1 year old baby) stayed here as it had kitchen facilities which suited us better than a hotel.
The rooms were clean and maid service was every day. The maids were great with our young son and nothing was too big or too small to ask for.
Decor is a little bit dated, but hey, it is Myanmar. We know Yangon very well and although this is a bit far from downtown, taxis are relatively cheap and its more peaceful at Micasa.
The mini-mart associated with Micasa is well stocked with essentials, although don't expect fresh produce like milk etc.
The pool was clean and cool, and the gym was adequate.
The room service menu however was fantastic - the quality of the food was excellent and the service was very prompt.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel laundry is expensive, but there are self service washing machines and dryers for residents use. The maids may also be able to assist in performing this service for a small fee.

ห้องพักดีมาก มีห้องรับแขกใหญ่มาก และห้องครัวก็มีอุปกรณ์ครบครัน แต่ว่าการบริการของพนักงานล่าช้าไปหน่อย เนื่องจากไปเช็คอินประมาณเที่ยง แต่ว่าห้องยังทำไม่เสร็จต้องรอประมาณ 2 ชัวโมง เนื่องจากทีลูกเล็กจึงทำให้ลำบากมาก จนรอไมไหวต้องขอขึ้นห้องทั้งที่ยังทำไม่เสร็จ และว่าเหลือไม่มาก หลังจากเข้ห้องไปแล้ว 10 นาทีก็เสร็จเรียบร้อย แต่พอเห็นห้องก็โอเค เพราะ อยากกับไปอยู่บ้านจริง
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
เจดีย์ชเวดากอง นับว่าสุดยอดมากเป็นตัวแทนของความศรัทธาที่ชาวพม่ามีต่อศาสนาพุทธจริงๆ
