Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Don't expect international standards
friendly, helpful, unique
5.3
My room was totally overpriced for the service level and the facilities level offered. Badly working aircon. Big selection of food, but not very tasty. But the staff were very friendly and were going out of their way to help and assit where ever they could. Located a bit out of town, so it was not too busy, but it took a while to get to town of that was necessary. I would stay there again, not much of a choice.

Good for the business traveller and the family
Great view, good service, easy to stay in

Food was good but un advertised halal menu meant it was restricted. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Facilities for business and sport recreation were excellent. Taxis were easily available and the location means an easy trip to downtown.

Spacious and clean
Despite close proximity to what is now a busy main road the room was apartment style and relatively quiet. The hotel has a good, reasonably priced restaurant.
5.7
The hotel was conveniently located for my needs as most of what I was interested in is in the northern Yangon area. Staying closer in would suit anyone wanting to be downtown more as taxi rides can take a long time now, even outside 'peak' hours. The room was clean, spacious and very functional - apartment style with cooking facilities - suitable for anyone on business or who was already a frequent visitor to Myanmar. One would seem to be paying for the size of apartment and lack of availability of hotel rooms as the cost of the room seemed very high. The restaurant food was more than adequate and reasonably priced - not many other restaurants close by.

This hotel has great service.
We chose the two bedroom apartment which gave us room to work and a kitchen. Good value when you need two rooms.
8.3
This is an old hotel with colonial charm. The rooms are due for renovation (1st floor started) but comfortable and clean. Good services for business travellers such as library and business center with meeting space. Wifi a bit spotty in the room but excellent in the public areas. DSL in rooms, but I was traveling with IPAD.
This is the the second time that I chose this hotel, and I would go back. Really can't beat the service. Food is ok and the dining room is quite busy with locals so the Burmese must be great.
The only complaint I have is that they don't take credit cards and it is a pain to keep taking out cash (Jet) and then have the hotel convert to dollars to pay your bill....a double whammy on the exchange rate. Very few places take credit cards, so bring plenty of cash.

Convenient for some nice restauarants
Big rooms, comfortable and clean
7.7
Big rooms, comfortable and clean - this is an apartment type hotel so there is a kitchen with the room too. Very close (almost walking distance) to L'Opera restaurant (Italian) which is highly recommended, but book ahead. Also walkable if you want to see Aung San Suu Kyii's house at the nearby Inya Lake.
