Overpriced - no value for money

terrible hotel - worn down - non-responsive staff - had to attend reception 6 times to request and request an extra ordered bed.
Paid tons of money for a socalled junior suite - worn down dirty (cockroaches present in toilet as well as living room)
Very basic and fucntional but definitel not worth the price tag - in fact quite inappropriate price tag even cnsidering burmese standard.

The check in was relatively simple & fuss free. The receptionist & counter staff were friendly & ever ready to assist. The room that we stayed was simply furnised with basic neccesities and toileteries. The toilet though was abit old and clean.The F&B outlets are not well patronised and eating out is recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Shewadagong pagoda temple is not far off from this hotel. However, the taxi ride may take more than half an hour due to the heavy downtown traffic. There are also numerous good F&B restaurants downtown.

did not at all like the hotel...the staff was so foolish they did not put the right amount of complimentary water bottles and coffee packs daily...not at all worth for money..my room was very close to the store and every morning you could hear them shouting at the top of their voices...still use the primitive system of keys (literally those keys you put in the lock) and give coupons for breakfast....will not suggest and myself not go there...total disappointment.
Hotel Feature Tip:
avoid the hotel.

Decent hotel with friendly service

Staff were helpful trying to book hotels for later in our trip. Free internet access was useful, although it was slow.
Location was a bit far from downtown, but taxis are inexpensive and easy to find.
Many tour groups were using this hotel.

It's not a brand new hotel but it's clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. We took an early morning flight so they provided packed breakfast (basic). There are always a few taxi waiting outside the hotel which makes it quite convenient for tourist. But make sure you negotiate the price before you go anywhere!
In summary the hotel worth the money I paid.
Nightlife Tip:
the Karawik Palace is highly recommended!

Nice size rooms and money changing available from concierge.

Hotel is over priced for a three star but the room is good size for two persons. Free breakfast is very filling but lacks variety on day to day basis; became boring after 4 days of same food. Internet service in the room is not good, so beware!!!
Restaurant Tip:
Nice Japanese restaurant just three minute walk from hotel. It has a buffet on weekend evenings and very good a la cart menu to order from.

Panda hotel was fine. Reasonable value for money considering most hotels in Yangon are pricey. Location wasn't great - ok if you're going to get a taxi but a sweaty walk to anywhere. No restaurants nearby so we ended up eating very average food in the hotel restaurant. Staff were attentive and helpful but not overbearing (as we found in many hotels in Myanmar).

i have stayed in this hotel for my last 5 business trips over the last 6 months. everytime when i return, the prices did increased a little. from usd to current price of usd. i'm looking out for other hotels and willing to try other hotels at the same price and services. when i find one, i shall spread the words.
Restaurant Tip:
YKKO Chinese food restaurant is down the street. On the other side, if you walk approx 5 mins, there is a shopping center with Orange supermarket

Room is clean. Vacinity is quite quiet. Taxis are available right outside at entrance. Choose the taxi wisely and please bargain for lower prices. Be aware of old taxis with no air-con. Their seats could be wet during raining season. Carry hand antiseptic lotion and wet wipes everywhere u go

Down the street is YKKO restaurant. Good Asian food
