Budget stay conveniently located near the city
Location, budget compared to other city hotel. Big rooms.
Breakfast was alright with a mixture of Chinese (noodles, fried rice etc.) and western food (variety of Bread, cornflakes). Not much changes throughout the week. Electricity seems to be an issue in Myanmar, there are frequent power cut. Luckily there is backup generator. Traveling to the city is just a 10~15mins taxi ride (1000~2000 kyats) depending on the traffic conditions. Its also near to the well known temple shwedagon (15 mins cab ride). If you are traveling in a in are larger group you can easily find minibus with aircon just outside the hotel. It will cost from 80,000 kyats for a day trip.

Budget stay compare to other city hotel
Near to City, 10~15 mins cab ride to city center, taxi and mini buses readily available outside hotel. Some nice food conveniently located in walking distance.

Very Friendly and helpful staff.
Staff, breakfast buffet, clean room
We really enjoyed our stay at Panda Hotel. The staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast buffet, though mostly Asian, was very tasty, another pleasant surprise. Taxis are very cheap in Rangoon so this hotel being a little off the beaten path was a nice break from the busy traffic.

Value for money
Internet, spacious and reasonable rate
At this hotel rate, the hotel provided a reasonable clean, spacious and comfortable room with Internet services , I feel it is value for money in this city. In addition, the location is near to many food and entertainment outlet, yet the place are remain quiet, what else you could expect for such a rate. The friendly and helpful staff added more value for the stay.

Good Average City Hotel
Location, price and room
Reasonably priced city hotel in an expensive city for hotels. 3 Star rating is reasonable as it is not that modern, a bit gloomy but good for location and price.
