Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

big rooms but quite far fr town
5
The room is ok but the lights for both in the room and hall very dim which is not good for reading. Even packing and unpacking sometime feels distracted. 2 waterbottle refills everyday. Breakfast not many choices.
Shopping Tip:
Make sure have enough clean USD, money changer in hotel and airport not advisable. Better try at Bojok market. Most of the shopping(Bojok market and others)close on Monday so plan your arrival and itenerary properly.

Rooms were tired and average, breakfast buffet never changed, internet connections were haphazard and slow. Compared to Thailand where you could get a 4-5 star hotel for the same price, the hotel was extremely average. Hotels in Yangon need competition and well trained staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Yangon's main attraction is the Shwe Dagon Pagoda after that head to other parts of Myanmar. It is an amazing country and very diverse with regards to attractions and people.

One of the better hotels for foreigners in Yangon
8
i stayed in this hotel because i wanted to see yangon before it became too touristy. the panda hotel was perfect for this trip because it was located just far enough outside of the city center that it was quite and allowed you to be in the midst of local residents. at the same time though, it wasn't too far to get to all of the major attractions. i would highly recommend it because of the location, the friendly staff, and the price.

So friendly
the staff were so great as withe views

hotels in myanmar are expensive. panda was middle f the range but just lovely. the staff were so helpful and friendly - the room (s) were huge and we had great views out over the city.
it was in a quiet street and easy access to a few restaurants and a supermarket and shopping (though the shopping centre was like being in bangkok)
not too far from the pagoda and the central market
Restaurant Tip:
For fantastic real Myanmar food go to the Danuphyu Daw Saw Yee Restaurant - apprently tehre are three in Yangon....

overpriced 3 star hotel with friendly service
this hotel was not full, therefore I chose it
4.7
The rooms ak manageable for 3 stars, the breakfast is a monotonous standard and grasy affair of loveless choice and socialist thinking "this is good enough for you", there is a shopping mall in walking distance, thnak good, and there you can eat, slightly better, or shop in the sterile supermarket on the ground floor

Pretty basic hotel but good value
Value for money, central location
7.7
This is my second time staying at the hotel. I really like the central location which is worth the money I paid for the room. The room itself is quite big but everything works, esp the air-conditioning (important since Myanmar is very hot and humid). Ask for a room in the middle as the ones at one end of the hotel faces a construction site and the noise penetrates. Had to request for a change of room, which they granted without questions asked and very quickly!
Overall good value for money and no complaints!
