the hotel with quite surroundings, good for those looking for privacy. but the bathroom is a bit small, and need new shower curtain. the breakfast provided is just okay, better if more variety made available to guest.

Rooms clean but need update

Overall the hotel was not too bad. The staff is nice and helpful and the breakfast was very plentiful although mostly Chinese food but you can have eggs made to order and also have toast and fruit, coffee, tea. It was buffet so its all you can eat. The rooms are in need of redecoration and updating but they were clean. The bed compfortable and the a/c worked very good. The hotel is just outside of downtown which was good to get away from all the chaos and noise. We did have one mishap when we came back from Bagan and that is they didnt have our reservation I booked through Agoda (stayed 4 non-consecutive nights), they did put us in a room but which smelled musty-they were apologetic but nothing else. They do have free internet (lobby) and wifi which worked the best in the lobby but as usual in Yangon it was sometimes slow.

The front desk staff were not so unfriendly. The food in the restaurant was terrible. The cook had no any professional cooking skills and made every kind of food look the same and taste the same. The maintainance is poor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is close to the Pagoda.

Only stayed one night as stop over. Not as close to the airport as we thought about 40 mins in traffic. Seemed to be in the dodgy side of town, but not too far in tax to city centre.
Travel tip:
the resturant in the hotel very basic but cheap, breakfast included if u like greasy food.

This an old hotel located far from city surrounded by dusty roads, you don't feel like walking out when you see the road condition. The room is old and smelly. Shower is week. Breakfast is reasonable. The only strong point is: taxi is easily available in front of hotel. Internet speed is terrible.

we stay for a couple of night, the hotel is a bit old but well maintained, big lobby with free internet, the room very spacious with safe and refrigerator,the reception staff speak manderin and good english.
the location is a bit far from town centre but with some good chinese restaurants nearby. we will strongly regcoment to friends to stay here.
oh ya, the breakfast is very good too.
Restaurant Tip:
good chinese restaurant about 400m away and very reasonable price.

Despite this hotel being a little out of the centre it offers very good value by Myanmar standards. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Chinatown area where the best restaurants are. The centre itself can be reached by cab for about $3 or just get a local bus which took about 20 mins.
