Better hotel than others in the same area
Location in downtown Yangon
The Panda hotel was quite good with helpful staff & comparatively clean rooms. The hotel is located in downtown Yangon so moving around is not a problem.Downtown Yangon is quite a small area but bustling with tourists & business people from all countries.

hotel with multiple electric plug fittings socket
special electric socket in room , good food outlet nearby
best feature of the room : an electric socket with various pin fittings..round, flat, 2-pins, 3 pins...so you need have your own adaptor plug . room is spaceous and clean . hotel exterior looks old but interior feel fine .there is operational free internet/wifi services for guests . there are restaurant/cafe offering Japanese/chinese/western dishes n buffet 5 mins walk just across the road . location is not that near city center so environ is quiet . staff helpful, breakfast OK n adequate .

shabby, untidy, and overpriced
few and far between
This hotel was clearly the worst during our trip. It is untidy, with an empty waterbottle and similar useless items visible on the guard's table as you enter the bulding. also the cleaning-wagon, the first thing we saw when leaving the elevator on the way to our room, is anything but eyecandy. Rooms are old and rather rundown, and the dining hall also has a decrepit and neglected air. it's also located somewhat outside the centre, so avoid this one if you can.

A hotel that worth money
value money
It's not a brand new hotel but it's clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. We took an early morning flight so they provided packed breakfast (basic). There are always a few taxi waiting outside the hotel which makes it quite convenient for tourist. But make sure you negotiate the price before you go anywhere! In summary the hotel worth the money I paid.

Good hotel, good services and good location
Very nice service, good location
The hotel meets the standards required for its price. Rooms are big enough and clean. Breakfest is also good. I appreciete the helpful service on the front desk and the good location of the hotel. Recommended for families with children

not so good hotel
just the close proximity to downtown
did not at all like the hotel...the staff was so foolish they did not put the right amount of complimentary water bottles and coffee packs daily...not at all worth for money..my room was very close to the store and every morning you could hear them shouting at the top of their voices...still use the primitive system of keys (literally those keys you put in the lock) and give coupons for breakfast....will not suggest and myself not go there...total disappointment.

Decent hotel with friendly service
Good breakfast
Staff were helpful trying to book hotels for later in our trip. Free internet access was useful, although it was slow. Location was a bit far from downtown, but taxis are inexpensive and easy to find. Many tour groups were using this hotel.

Faded but adequate
Helpful staff, quiet neighbourhood, breakfast better than average for Myanmar
Panda hotel was fine. Reasonable value for money considering most hotels in Yangon are pricey. Location wasn't great - ok if you're going to get a taxi but a sweaty walk to anywhere. No restaurants nearby so we ended up eating very average food in the hotel restaurant. Staff were attentive and helpful but not overbearing (as we found in many hotels in Myanmar).
