these days, it is very difficult to book a hotel room in yangon. the parkroyal hotel yangon is very expensive now, even compare with other hotel. facilities are quite good and breakfast was very tasty. the breakfast was the tastiest food here in yangon. the location of the hotel is very convenient, very close with sakura tower and international market.
Shopping Tip:
In International Market, if you want to get good Jade stone, you would be better to go to two shops, which Chinese people gathers. Chinese people know which stone is good. And also they know the real price of Jade. And they know how to discount.

Good Hotel

I have stayed at ParkRoyal Yangon on several occasions and have never been disappointed. This time was no exception. I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was a good size, with most facilities under one roof. The staff were polite provided all the information that I needed for our stay.

the price is fine. so, nothing extraordinary, but very reasonable.
breakfast is outstanding!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Not too far from the gloden pagoda where you can hire a tour guide at a reasonable price for better introduction of the history and culture of the gloden pagoda.

Officer has a service mind and serve all clients with smiling. Hotel rate is quite expensive but comparing to the service, it's fine. Hotel location is quite good. It's convenient to go anywhere. It's recommended hotel in Yangon.

Room was clean but nothing special. Food was above expectations with several restaurants. Breakfast was very good.
Good selection of TV channels (american channels from Thailand carrier)
Internet in the room? Forget it. Not even cable connection worked.
