Great hotel with good service
probably the best hotel in Yangon

the stay there was perfect with excellent service crew and its really the best building seen along the street. one of the popular choices of hotel for business stay in yangon. there is free wifi included. breakfast was great with a huge spread of choices. will definitely stay there again if i have to travel to yangon.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Please visit the Shwedagon Pagoda. Huge place, very clean and lots of beautiful golden pagodas around.

prices for hotels in this city has sky rocketed. compared to bangkok you are not getting close to the same value for your money. it is the same with all hotels in this city i believe.
bathrooms are a bit old but ok for 4 star.
it seems like currency exchanged has settled a bit and you get a ok deal at the airport now.

I moved to this hotel because I wanted to use the Gym and the swimming pool. This is one of the few hotels in Yangon that has a Gym and a swimming pool. The location is quite central although there were hotels more central to the City. It is very close to one of the main Markets (Scott Market). only walking distance.
The only negative I found was the price tag.

I dont like the service of this hotel, which the receptionist in the check in counter was very rude, my friend and I booked in different room, which the service level given t my friend and I totally different, he get a very bad service instead and we are waiting sometime for the room available and hotel is lobby is full of people and we do not have place to sit at all

nice hotel. big and posh with good service. staff speaks good english. popular choice with singaporeans. the room is big and well furnished. breakfast is good. had dinner at the chinese restaurant twice and was satisfied both times. the japanese restaurant is just passable. the only complain i have is the price. despite all the good experience, having to pay in excess of usd per night after taxes is hardly value for money.
