It is really no frills hotel - standard room at has internal window and hard-as-a-rock beds. Bathroom was quite decent (considering it's Yangoon). Similar hotels in neighbouring cost 5 times less. Surprisingly, breakfast was good.

I am very disappointed with reception of the hotel.They put me into delx=uxe room at the ground floir very the reception. The room smells badly as it is near the toilets in the lobby and is very noisy as it is just next to the reception. There is no windows in the room. I requested for another deluxe and they promised to put me in an upper floor deluxe room next day when the air-con is fixed as it is not working but next day they told me the air-con is not okay. In the end I have to stay in a superior room(which costs $60 cheaper)for 2 nights as I cannot stand the smells in ghe deluxe room.
Also serivce is very bad as I have ask for the flask to be refilled with hot water but the flask is still at the reception after half hour. I went to the reception again the flask is still. After I make some noise at them then they get the room service to fill the flask. The receptionists' attitudes are extremely bad and laid bare. But the room service are good. The breakfast is no good.
In summary it is the worst hotel at the rates they are charging that I have evere stayed.

No fuss accommodation and terrific service.
Hotel is close to markets, coffee shops and the city. Easy access to wherever we needed to go. The staff is the hotels best feature. They were awesome.

The moon cafe up the road is wonderful. The Lake up the road is beautiful. Careful closing the road.
The only downside was the smell of cigarets everywhere. Not used to that.
