Rooms are clean but Wifi connection is fair

Staff were friendly but was surprised to be asked to pay a cash deposit of USD100 per room upon check-in (no mentioned anywhere when booking this hotel either in Agoda website or Sedona own website). No credit card deposit was allowed. We had to ration our remaining money for our stay after paying the deposit.
Room was clean and big but the aircon was too cold even when we have tuned to 28 degrees and the lowest fan possible. Blanket was too thin for cold aircon. Would prefer to be provided with a proper quilt cover blanket.
Hotel located approximately 20-30 mins drive from city center. Provides free shuttle bus service to Bogyoke Aung San market but have to book early with reception as popular time slots get filled up quickly.

The hotel was good, clean and breakfast was good. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful when questions were posed to them. Taxis were readily available at the hotel lobby. However, restaurants are not that nearby or within walking distance and would need to take a taxi.

Big and clean room in luxury hotel downtown Yangon

My family and I (6 people) stayed at Sedona Hotel and had a good time. This 5 star hotel (compare to other places in Yangon in 2013) is really nice, clean, good service, and acceptable price. Swimming pool is rather old stle but nicely large. Food is fine in good location downtown.
