excellent(but little aged) service in excellent location.
Sedona in Yangon is not a small building. The lobby area is Not cozy nor elegant, but still useful. However quite comfortable to stay in may ways. Foods are excellent. Servce is quite fast. However, Should be more strict about "SMOKING" rule inside of hotel. There was a chinese gem convention when I was there. So many chinese in the hotel and they smoke at everywhere!! Can't stand with it except my room.

Service is the key to your sucess. Please keep up with the good work
taxi arrangement was kinda poor.
Seriously, seeing from the postcard i didnt have a clue it will be beyond my expectations.
Tennis court, swimming pool, bars, business center everything was very well organized.
Lets talk about the room.Everyhting was good but the a/c wasnt that cold and lights was kinda dim.
My recommendation to every person staying at Sedona Hotel.Food is very fantastic.Whether its India,Thai,Chineese,Continental or local, just cant stop eating.
lastly, you'll get the best view of golden pagoda.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Golden Pagoda. Not far from yankin deparment store

The Sedona, I have stayed many times and never disappointed. Its rooms are large and clean and quiet. The health Club offers good facilities, clean and again quiet and relaxing.
The Irish Pub downstairs and friendly and has a good happy hour. The Italian restuarant menu is very extensive as is there variety of wines and offers a good feed. Checkin and out is quick and efficient. The hotel is central to all business areas and offers good views and walks around the lake.
Business center and internet is irratic and expensive for no found reason.
Breakfast could offer a better selection but was Ok to fill the morning gap otherwise I have no complaints
As a 5 star hotel in Yangon the edona offers the businessman all round service and the staff are very polite and helpfull. I hve stayed at the Sedona and found it good value for money and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to a family or single person. The pool area is large and very family friendly. The Chinese, Italian and the Irish bar have a good atmosphere and are prepared to cook just the way you like it.
I enjoy the early checkin as the hotel is not too busy and the rooms large and you never feel closed in like so many hotels. I for one will be staying there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the hotel is near the main shopping areas, tourist spots, secure and good value for money.

The friendliest people on the planet.
Great service.
Helpful staff.
Wonderful Breakfast and Isabella makes everyone feel like royalty.
Walking path on the lake across the street.
It is hard to keep the musty smell out of the carpets during the rainy season but they work hard at it and do very well.
This was our fourth trip to Yangon and we have stayed at the Sedona every time. There are certainly cheaper places to stay that would be adequate for our needs but the value for the money (5 star accomodations at a very low price) and the friendly staff keeps us coming back again and again. Although this hotel is a little out of the downtown area, I would rather reside in a quieter location, take morning and evening walks by the lake and take the taxi or shuttle when I need to be in town.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't miss out on the Pub in the basement - Paddy O'Malley's. Friendly staff and a decent band make this a nice place to unwind after a long day.

Big room, extremely friendly and help staff, good food
far away from the centre.
The hotel is great with big room, extremely friendly and help staff and good food. People are nice and humble and are eager to help! We got up at 4:30 in the morning and could even get our breakfast! It is good value for money! The only short coming is that it is a little bit too far away from the centre.

big swimming pool, hotel staff
slightly away from shops or city centre, food in the restaurants just so-so, internet expensive
I stayed at Sedona Yangon for 3 nites on 2 separate occassions. I found the hotel to be nice and staff very friendly and helpful. Location wise for us is a little far from shops unlike Traders Hotel that's within walking distance to market etc. However the room is clean and breakfast is good, except we are not too impressed with dinner at chinese, Italian restaurants and coffee lounge, they are just so-so. Also to use internet in hotel is very expensive.

Friendly and very helpful staff, good and polite service, good and clean hotel, nice hotel ambiance.
security checks rather a bit overdone ?
Overall a pleasant hotel to stay in. Hotel facilities are good and adequate. Very nice location, opposite Inya Lake. Hotel staffs have been very accommodating and friendly. Very helpful when we had a special request for our 3yr old. Only downside was that it is quite a bit of a distance from downtown Yangon. Proximity towards shopping areas is NOT within walking distance...need to grab a taxi. Overall still a worthwhile stay.
Shopping Tip : Bargain at everything....from taxi fare to shopping !!!

Friendly staff, well-spoken English, gym with individual TV's, tennis courts with a coach for hire, large swimming pool, excellent food & dining, in-room Cable TV plus extra movies, great view of lake, takes credit cards, good service, easy access to city center,($3-$4 US),helpful business center but with the usual Myanmar governmental limitations
A bit out of the city center but makes up for it by having great lake views and close shopping. The
travel concierge is a weakness
This is an excellent hotel that charges a reasonable price for its services and amenities. The staff is well-spoken in English and tried and succeeded to make my stay extremely special. It is nicely situated in a quiet part of town with great views of Inya Lake which is just across the street. One of the better shopping centers is a safe 10 minute walk away. The hotel has a wide array of sports activities available and several dining areas serving a wide-variety of international foods. I would definitely stay here again!!
Hotel Feature Tip : Come to Burma with a Gmail Account already set up!

-Located in good location - 15 mins drive to downtown
-Pool is big
-Dirty
-They need to do more maintenance
-Staff at swimming pool counter is not friendly
I stayed at this hotel for one night in November. This hotel is supposed to be the best in Myanmar. But,I think the hotel needs more maintenance. Rooms are quite small but pool is quite big. But, staffs at swimming pool counter was not helpful and quite arrogant. We had to leave very early to catch a flight, so we didn't have time to have any food. The good thing is it is 30 mins drive from airport and 15 min drive to downtown. There is also a big lake next to hotel. Overall, it would have good great, but it turned out to be only good as 3 stars hotel.

I had a problem with the lights in the bathroom and upon calling front desk someone came up in a matter of minutes and had the problem solved in no time. There is an excellent Italian restaurant at the hotel, I had one of the best seafood pastas there!
Shopping Tip : Go to Yankin Center nearby to buy anything you need. It is a very good supermarket, but you will pay the price. Definitely more expensive than the local market but worth the look. It is a very western version of a supermarket so if you're a foreigner you will feel at home. And at Scotts/Bogyoke Market remember to bargin!

There was no alarm clock in the guestroom; as Myanmar has UTC +6.5hr, you might get confused what time it is. I recommend you to pack your clock. Automated wake-up service was available, however.
