If u want to visit Yangon's interesting sites, this hotel is recommended. Just a few meters away - you can visit Shwedagon and Gandawgi lake. About 2 kms to Scot market.

For me, this hotel is just what I need. Not too much of luxury, but well run, very friendly staff, and clean and well-equipped rooms with a nice view on the Schwedagon Pagoda nearby. Good value for money.

I stayed at this hotel on 4Feb08, 1 night. The location of this hotel is very convenient, just about 15~20 minutes from the airport by Taxi. The staff are very helpful and there are many beautiful pictures which have been used for decoration at the lobby of every floor. If you have time, you can take a walk and see those beautiful pictures of Myanmar.
You can exchange the local money at the small store in the hotel in a good exchange rate.
The location of this hotel is good as very near to the biggest paya-Shwedagon paya, just 10 minutes walk. the breakfast buffet is very delicious.
The room is little bit old and the travel agent opens very late. As a tourist, you have to wait for them in order to exchange the local money.

Friendly front desk service-check in was a breeze.
Pool well maintained with new towels, band in bar -
ok. Clean rooms, good for the money.
- Restaurant Tip : Restaurant at the top of Sakura tower is a great place
as you can see all the lights of Yangon.

Summit Parkview is located a couple of miles away from the center, but the excellent value for money makes up for that.
