The Thamada Hotel is centrally located and close to nearly all that Yangon has to offer. It is within five minutes of the Scott Market and the railway station. A clean and comfortable place to stay in Yangon but in no frills style. However, all 58 rooms are furnished with air conditioning, hot and cold shower and bath, television, mini bar, telephone, voicemail, safety box and hair dryer. A favorite amongst budget travelers.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is within walking distance to the city hence save the transportation. The restaurant at 365 is great for food and recreation. The music is very entertaining and nice. Morning breakfast has various options from western to japanese as well as chinese. I recommend budget traveller to stay at this hotel.
