Quiet and comfortable room with retro sense of 60'
Quiet neighbourhood with broad view of the train station. Air condition is very good and the staff is friendly and very attentive.

Locals said this hotel was nicely built decades ago and was very famous. Though it looks a little old, maintaintence is sufficient to make facilities working fine. Room is very clean and comfortable, with the solid construction of the sixties, it is well soundproved. Breakfast is offering different set meuns from western to asian, is average. Staff is very helpful, here is an example: when I was trying to go out after midnight to watch a football match that was not shown in my room TV, they said they could reset and add another channel so that I could watch it in my room.

The location close to Scott Market was a plus. We only stayed one night but it was clean and pleasant.

The Thamada is an average hotel but a bit overpriced for its amenities and location to the city centre. Great for railway travellers as taxis aren't needed. Great staff in an adequate hotel.

Reasonable for 2 stars hotel even the price seem hight when compare with Thai hotels. however, hotel staffs very nice and helpful, thier english is everygood. location is great only 5 minute walk to the Scott market and Sule Pagoda even walk to Shwedagon pagoda(but queit far) 24 taxi available in front of the hotel (reasonable price for taxi with negociable) hotel design quiet old. room very old but functional. cleanliness is fine.
